Hi, my name is Dana. I'm 24 years old and live in Massachusetts. Currently I work in a garden center. I love gardening and plants and hope to have a big garden and maybe even some chickens or something some day. But for now I live in a small city apartment with a parakeet named Baby and my boyfriend.
For hobbies, I like knitting and board games. I have way too many board games. I also love to rock climb and am trying to learn how to sew. I also love the 3DS.
I am studying Japanese, which I started doing in college and have been interested in ever since.
Currently I'm really into the authors: - Elizabeth Kostova - Haruki Murakami - Norton Juster
At least once a year I read The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster.
My favorite themes, which I feel isn't exactly the right word but is pretty close, are books set in academia, books that have fantastical elements but are not full frontal fantasy, memoirs, books that children taking on adventures (like Stephen King books like It or The Body/Stand By Me).
I like to knit. I also have a Project Life scrapbook going. I also have been dabbling in making my own stamps and learning to sew.
Unfortunately my small living quarters really cramp my collecting crafting supplies style. So I've been doing more small things. Knitting projects to give to people, hand sewing small home goods rather than trying to sew full sized things with my machine, and scrapbooking.
Tea (black, green, herbal, caffeinated or decaf), book recommendations, small crafting supplies (especially anything that could be used for Project Life, so no thick pieces), board game related things? , postcards (touristy ones, interesting art ones, silly ones), anything bird related.
Banana flavor, Cards Against Humanity.
