About Me

My partner and I have two dogs (Ginger Rodgers and Bette Davis), 3 cats, and today, 2 Fish (they tend to kill each other). One of our dogs, is a 5 month old puppy that terrorizes everyone.

I joined because I wanted to find a community of knitters that can accept unsual people. I love knitting but I am surrounded by nonknitters.

My family loves halloween and we decorate all year long. We like scary and gory stuff but the intent is to have fun.

Our roommates include vampiries, wolfman, several skeletons, the Mummy, and Jason. Skulls,severed limbs, and spiders are welcome.

Favorite Television

I am a big fan of Project Runway and the Olympics. I was excited when Project Runway did an episode about the Olympics but the resulting outfits were horrible. :(

I guess I watch too much reality tv. I like to watch real people demonstrate work skills but I don't like to watch people get embarrassed.

Favorite Crafts

Obviously I love knitting. I have recently discovered sock knitting. I have a large foot (size ten, ladies) and it takes awhile to make socks for myself. I have a medium size hand (3 in across and almost 7 in long).

I like all vibrant colors (orange, red, green, purple, blue) but I don't like lace or frilly stuff. I really like cables but I know they can be a lot of work.

Comment: I received my package today and I LOVED how everything was packed with care, the worry stones (gorgeous and interesting I must add) in their very own little bag (love the color) with a little homegrown sage!!!! Perfect. More so today than ever. I needed the worry stones . .I'm facing a second round of possible breast cancer, they've gone with me EVERYWHERE today. THANK YOU.
