I am a single mother of 2 girls ages 9 and 17. They keep me very busy. I recently lost my job due to the tornado so now I am temporarily working at City Hall helping with all of the permits people need to demolish or rebuild the homes they have lost. If I can get away my best friend and I try to visit all The Hard Rock Cafe's we can. I have currently been to 23 different ones around the U.S.

I like going to concerts. I have lots of favs. 3 Doors Down, Michael Buble, Bruno Mars, The Beatles, Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin. I am a big fan of local artists here in Joplin. The Ben Miller Band and Jeff Wood are great!

I read a lot of mysteries. James Patterson, Sandra Brown and Mary Higgins Clark are just a few authors I enjoy

Castle, Bones, Parenthood, Mike and Molly, my kids and I like to watch game shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Cash Cab

I love to knit. I haven't been doing it for too long but I am getting the hang of it. I may be addicted to buying yarn. I always think I can use it for something someday but it usually just collects in my giant yarn basket. I like darker colors like browns,reds and oranges. I don't really like bright florescent colors.

I am a big coffee drinker.I am not a big fan of fruit flavored drinks. I love Chai, either in tea or coffee. Especially in cold weather. My favorite thing to do in the cooler months is curl up with something warm to drink and try out a new knitting pattern.
