I've started a group: Altered Playing Cards Only (APCO) --join us, won't you?
Hello, I live amidst the cornfields in East Central Illinois, USA.
Aquarius. Pluviophile/Ceraunophile.
I love travel, so tell me about where you're from!
Camping and going to live concerts are things I do.
I exchange loads of postcards, and trying my hand at stamp-collecting. I love swapping ATCs and APCs--I host an ATC/APC swap group via Instagram.
Notes:
--I weigh all outgoing mail; if I ever have postage due, let me know, and I will amend the issue!
--I click on "sent item" when I've put a stamp on the envelope and put it in the mailbox. If it's in the evening or on a Sunday, then the date stamped will be a day later.
--If you aren't able to send something on time to me, just send me a note--you don't have to tell me why, just say it will be late--life happens!
I adore music, and would love to hear about your favorite songs/artists. My favorite music includes Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, Wilco, Phish, and most classic rock in general.
I fall asleep to a playlist called "sad cello" and now, "midnight thunderstorms."
Outlander. British television in general. Twin Peaks. Black Mirror. Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Bridgerton. Doctor Who.
House of the Dragon and Rings of Power were fun--lots of folks who have "read the books" nitpicked a lot, but as a one of those book-readers, I thought the shows were great.
I read a lot; any recommendations?
LOVES: LOTR, Dune, ASOIAF, The Kingkiller Chronicle, Circe, The Chocolate War, Tana French novels, Three Dark Crowns, The Southern Reach Trilogy, Discovery of Witches, Normal People, Mexican Gothic
Fantasy. SciFi. Nonfiction.

Hi Karla! I've sent you two more messages to check if you've received my swap - would appreciate if you could let me know if not and I'll make it up to you.
Hello. Thank you for your March RAK - 6 Vintage postcards! They are a nice variety and it has been fun examining each one. I particularly enjoyed reading about St.Anton am Arlburg in Austria. The famous monuments in Plymouth, Massachusetts have also been one of my favorites to read about. Oh, and the 44 pound cabbage is really beautiful. So much texture and lines and variations in colors. I've never quite looked at a cabbage in this way before!!! Interesting and Fun. Thanks again. Hugs!!!
