I'm a mum to 4 girls, living on the south coast of England. We are home educators with a love for all things crafty. My personal favourites are scrapbooking, ATCs, needle felting and sewing (small projects). DD1 loves sewing, knitting and needlefelting. DD2 loves scrapbooking. DD3 loves painting. DD4 loves getting her hands on anything that anyone else is doing really!

I am about to start my first art journal and have been looking around for inspiration - never done anything like this before (art was one subject I dropped at school, didn't consider myself at all creative). So I'm making up for all those lost years now! I'm also determined that my children never feel that they are not creative.

I always feel inspired by natural beauty and am trying to improve my photography skills so I can capture some of these things. Love nothing more than to sit and watch the sun set at the end of the day (unfortunately it doesn't happen that often with 4 kids to chase around after).

Other things that inspire me include:

lush colours of wool rovings (just want to sit and soak them in!)

pretty glass beads

music, music, music (fairly eclectic tastes so covers most things though not really rap, funk or very heavy metal)

books, lots of fantasy stuff

my kids, they amaze me!
