I took about a year off of swaps due to a jam packed school schedule, but now I am so excited to get back into swapping!
Hi! My name is Nicole. I’m a 24 year old graduate student living in Southern California, where I have been born and raised. I
I study public administration and urban planning, and I am set to graduate with my degrees in a few months! I am a total nerd about local government. currently, I am a city planner and I love it...one day I hope to become a city manager :)
I love to read, but keep it just to non fiction.
Recently started collecting US Postage stamps, and would love to get tips and tricks related to collecting and organizing them.
I’m cryptocurious. Very interested in Bitcoin, and follow it pretty in depth.
I have a 4 year old cat, Samantha. She’s the best! I’ve always grown up with cats in my family.
My hobbies include stamp collecting, crocheting (fairly basic stuff I'm still a beginner), letter writing, reading, and going on little adventures around Southern California!
Tuck ins/flat surprises: I never expect them! If you do want to send some and are looking for inspo, I love stamps, postcards, stationary, and stickers. I will be happy with anything though and will be very grateful! :)
Honestly, any non fiction literature! Always open to suggestions. Areas I like to read are in social sciences and sociology/anthropology. This summer I met my summer reading goal and got through 17 books. Growing up though, my favorite books were “The Great Gatsby” and “The Catcher in the Rye.” They still hold a soft spot in my heart :)
I am pretty busy right now with required readings for my grad program, but am working on a reading list for my winter break/ the summer when things quiet down a bit! I welcome any and all suggestions
I like alternative rock! But I also like rap, hip hop, pop, house music, etc. some specifics bands/artists I like are Frank ocean, two door cinema club, the struts, catfish and the bottlemen, bad suns, Mac Miller, the backseat lovers, Doja cat, lorde, drake, Louis the child, post Malone, petit biscuit, and more.
A - Academics. I love being a student and what I study!
B- My brother. He’s the best thing to ever happen to me.
C- Cats!! I have my own 2 year old kitty, Samantha. She has long black fur, and is the most snuggly, chatty, and angelic cat I’ve ever met.
D- Drives. I live in beautiful Southern California, and love taking drives along the coast.
E- embroidery. I can’t embroider, but I wish I could! Always drawn to dainty floral designs.
F- Fight on! I’m going to be pursuing my graduate degrees at USC this fall and couldn’t be more excited.
G- glass ware. I love vases- small vases and bud vases. Fresh flowers are something I always try to have around my apartment, and I love finding neat vases to hold them!
H- the heat! Love warm summer days and hanging out by the pool. Doesn’t matter how warm it is- would much rather it be hot than cold.
I- Italian food. My absolute favorite type of food….never ever gets old for me, and I’m a picky eater!
J-
K-
L- letters. I love writing and receiving letters. I’ve always had an affinity for stamps and snail mail.
M- Music…some of my favorite bands and artists are Bad Suns, Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Two Door Cinema Club, Louis the Child, and Mac Miller to name a few.
N- Non fiction literature. Send me suggestions!
O- outer space. Always have had a fascination with space. My favorite stamps in my stamp collection are all space themed!
P- Planning. I am a city planner and I love my work
Q- Quirky. I have to admit I am a fairly quirky person.
R- reading. I’m a voracious reader, especially in the summertime when I’m not in classes.
S- STAMPS! Ask me about my stamp collection. I’ve really been getting into it, and taking it more seriously and organizing it has been something I’ve been meaning to do for a while now.
T- tropical fish. I think my fascination with them comes from the massive tank at my local library where I would sit (and still do) in front of it and just watch the fish. My family got a tank in their house recently and have really been enjoying the fish and coral!
U- Urban planning! One of my interests for my career and areas of study in school.
V-
W- Writing. Putting pen to paper is so therapeutic to me.
X-

If you did not receive something from me, please reach out so I can make sure that what you are supposed to get thru the swap makes its way to you!! I never want to flake on anyone, so please let me know if you haven’t gotten anything from me.
Also, working on keeping my profile up to date and adding in tid bits as I think of them!
