I'm Gerlinde from the Netherlands. I'm 36 years old, married and I have 2 children. A boy, 5 years old and a girl, she's 4 years old. We live in a small village between Amsterdam and Utrecht close to some lakes.

In my free time I like to sit on my red couch with a cup of tea and a nice book, bake a pie with the apples from our little apple tree or buy a dress (somehow I only wear dresses). Walking in the woods or running through the country are more favourite activities of mine. I also like travelling in real (I met my husband in China many years ago) or through postcards I receive. I'm a paper-addict and sometimes I make little things of felt. And I love receiving snailmail and writing letters, buying and sending postcards!

I work with (former) homeless people in the city of Utrecht and I really like my job.

I like postcards with: * reading or writing women, books, typewriters, mailboxes or other mail related cards * Gotochi cards or shaped cards from China or Taiwan * Belle & Boo * Mila Marquis * Little red riding hood * Hello Kitty * Miffy/Dick Bruna * Moomins * Owls from Inga Paltser * Limoon * Drawn flamingos * August Macke * oriental themes (Asian / Chinese etc) * umbrellas * tea * pictures of women carrying their babies in a Sling * botanical art (botanical drawings of flowers and plants) * Illustrations of children or other illustrations (from for example children's books) But I think every card or letter is like a little present in my mailbox.
