Hi! I'm a sculptor without a studio, and so have turned my attention to bite size 2d projects. I LOVE sending mail to family and friends, but I heard getting mail is also nice? (kind of kidding) so I've joined up. Since I joined, I have got lots of exciting mail, and found that longish letters, or letters with lots of information to chew on, are what I prefer to receive.
I am pretty much good with my hands, welding, building things out of paper, knitting, and all that. I feel like I shouldn't broadcast my dislikes, but I get the impression that it would be helpful, so I guess I'll share that racks of scrapbook supplies make me cringe.
I live in California and I've just graduated college. I am working as a custodian to save money for an adventure to Japan next year.
I am a letterboxer (Caitlan on atlasquest.com) and carve stamps, so I would be interested in trading stamp prints or possibly stamps. I hesitate to ask a stranger to provide me with an ink pad, but I don't have pink and my black is failing.
I like learning! Besides learning about all the surprises nature has, I love learning new words, in English and Latin and Romance languages especially.
I don't try to collect all the stamps, but I keep an eye out for the beautiful ones with good design that celebrate the natural world, like the apollo mission or the antarctic treaty. I have already started saving for the Earthscapes that will be released in October.
Colors: I love colors! cool grays, soft pinks, clean white, neutrals (except navy) paired with fresh bright colors.
