I'm a civil engineer by trade but have recently become the owner of a yarn/fiber shop. I live on an island in Alaska and absolutely love it. I have a husband but no kids or pets.

I love to garden and fish. My favorite colors are yellow, orange and green. I don't like pink or cats.

I like a variety of music. Some of my faves include Tom Petty, Oingo Boingo, Mark Knoffler, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Wallflowers, show tunes. The list goes on.

My reading time is sporadic. I like the Twilight Saga, political non-fiction, Harry Potter, John Grisham, Anne Rivers Siddon, Barbara Kingsolver to name a few.

Haven't seen a movie in years but some of my favorites are the Star Trek series, the Star Wars series, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Grease, Rogers & Hammerstein classics.

Haven't had a TV in years but some oldies but goodies include MASH Seinfeld, X-files, Xena Warrior Princess, ER, all the Star Trek series, 24,CSI.

I always have several projects going at once. I knit, sew, quilt, stamp, bead, weave baskets, needlefelt, spin, make cards, make jewelry, dye stuff...

I love orange pixie stix and any flavor of laffy taffy. I prefer only hand made stuff. No pastels. I don't have any allergies and love anything with caffeine, ie tea, coffee, chocolate.
