Used to listen to country music all the time. Then the station got rid of the DJs I liked, and I'm not enjoying the music as much. My husband hates it, though, and we can agree on the oldies. My kids are liking them, too, and singing along with me. That's the fun part. Actually, they're oldies, but they're the songs I grew up with in the 70s and 80s.
Romance novels are my first choice, but I like the ones about the romance not the bedroom. My book club is expanding my horizons. Read a few classics that I never would have picked up otherwise. The Help and Hunger Games are both recommended.
Desperate Housewives, House, and the new Harry's Law are permanent fixtures on my DVR. I like Food Network, too, and amazingly my kids like to watch that one with me. And DIY shows, sometimes.
I don't think there's a craft I don't like, but if you ask my husband, my favorite part is the shopping. I have a whole room full of projects in various stages of completion, including sewing, crocheting, card making, and whatever you call it when you paint pieces of lumber, add letters, and turn it into holiday decorations. I have rediscovered Mod Podge, and it has become a good friend.
I've got a great husband and three kids (ages 10, 8 and 8), two cats, a dozen fish, and a rabbit. We live on seven acres with beautiful sunsets. I volunteer at the kids' school, try to keep my house clean, and go to church every Sunday (almost).
