I'm a 27, married, with 2-year-old daughter, stay at home mom. I'm new to swaps, but have been pen palling around for 7-8 years. Right now I'm up for any kind of "little" swaps (letters, teas, postcards, etc), but would eventually like to get into ATC, matchboxes, book swaps.

I'm a compulsive list maker. I have lists of lists. Seriously. There is something about making a list that gives me warm fuzzies.

3-11-2011 Back from a bit of a hiatus! Totally ready to swap! Have my stamps, stickers, etc stockpiled and I'm ready to go!!

I love to paint, but I'll try any craft once. I just learned how to crochet, and I'm not very good at it yet. > < I've been doing cross-stitch and hooklatch since I was a wee little gal. I have dozens of "projects" going on at once.

Eventually, if I ever have the space, I'd love to make dollhouses. Teeny tiny details and objects appeal to me.

.:.Likes.:. Owls, dragonflies, cats. Birds in general, but I get all excited if I see a cardinal or blue jay. Anything cryptozoology or paranormal related. Bookmarks. Feathers. Interesting photos. Coffee, coffee, and coffee. Tea, too. Gardening (veggies, herbs, flowers.) Any and all things related to Ireland, Romania, or Blackfoot Native Americans. Anything relating to Tim Burton or Edward Gorey. Weird magazine articles from tabloids like Sun. Insects, honey pots, eeyore and pooh. Wind chimes, dream catchers. Paper, journals, notebooks. I hoard blank notebook paper like you wouldn't believe. :P

.:.Colors:. Yellow, lime green, orange, white, sky blue. Pretty much any Spring colors.

.:.Dislikes.:. Empty mailboxes. Hehe. Rap music, racism, close-mindedness, etc.. Gee, I can't think of anything else I dislike. Guess I'm easy to please. :P

I will always and forever have a nice (un)healthy obsession with Counting Crows. I also like Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, The Decemberists, Jethro Tull, Sarah McLachlan, Blue October, Janis Ian, and Type O Negative.

Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Labyrinth, any Tim Burton, The Dark Crystal, Amelie, The Orphanage, Pan's Labyrinth, any super hero or comic based movies, My Fair Lady.

I'll read anything with words, sans romance, unless it's a classic. I like the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, Kathy Reich's "Bones" books, and Harry Potter. I have quite a collection going (300+), and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. :) I mainly read classics, fantasty, and non-fiction books on the paranormal and religion.
