Profile was updated on Aug, 2, 2010. As I am noticing I do not really need more crafting materials... I cannot properly store what I have.

I live in the midwest and am a stay at home mom of a very active boy. Married to a guy who loves to golf and who is a trained weather spotter. I married later in life than I planned, but am blessed with a wonderful son.

I love crafting; making altered crafts; I have a new-found love for making ATC's... (I have made a few dotee dolls (but not really that into it...) also I make button fairies; photography ( I have tons of flower photos from our bakyard and love using those for card-making) hand-writing letters; natural things.

My mother started researching our family tree when I was a child. I now have a family tree for my son... including both mine and my husband's ancestors we have over 500 names entered... (and growing!)

• Seems as though once I find a show I really like it does not make the ratings and they get cut! What a bummer!

The music I am drawn to lately is the stuff the American Idol's are doing. Past winners and top 12's.... not always the actual idol winner's music though!!! Faves: Chris Daughtry; Kellie Pickler; Jordin Sparks; Adam Lambert; Carrie Underwood.

Always turn up the radio for: LifeHouse; Abba; Black Eyed Peas, Allanis Morrisette

Altered crafts Making cards Photography cards - I use photos I take. Scrapbooking Dabble in water color pencils (painting) And getting into painting pottery card making... heat embossing I love using the BIG SHOT with the Stampin Up cutting dies and the Cuttlebug impression folders...

CRAFTING IS MY THERAPY!.. Who needs a shrink (or be shrunk!!) when you can craft??

in general: Brown with just about any color!

KITCHEN & DINING ROOM: TUSCAN themed.. with a southwestern flair as well!... Pottery, metal art.... Love the stripes and vibrant colors... (Autumn shades as well with eggplant or turquoise accent...)

MASTER BEDROOM: "shades of blue" & white

I am gradually making the change to natural products. Not liking all the things I am hearing about the harmful ingredients in so many of the every day products that I use. So I have made a point to try to make our surroundings a little more 'GREEN"... slowly, one thing at a time, we are making changes... anything to make this world a better place for my little one!

Getting 'personal' mail! Sunshine! Sunflowers to decorate house with! Natural products! Pottery! Great Sales! My son, Michael! My husband, Dave! My wonderful friends! Making NEW FRIENDS!

Would love to have a miniature flag from your country - the kind you hold in your hand and wave... (This or anything else profile based automatically earns you a 5 heart in my book!)

Looking for cute SUPER SIMPLE sewing patterns of things to make... I have not sewn since home-ec class in junior high school. so this is a new challenge for me....

I love handbags with lots of pockets to help me stay organized...

Anything smelling of cigarette/cigar smoke and perfume. No dog and cat hair please. I have allergies and asthma so I have to be extremely careful with this sort of thing.

I don't care for watermelon, cucumber, pine, floral or perfumy scents. They make me gag!

Also, I am in the process of converting to wheat and gluten free so I would prefer no consumables....to make it easy!

I am 41 - so I am not interested in the newer modern/cutsey things... ((I lean towards the antiques...)) LOL!
