Hello!
My name is M, and I live in Toledo, OH. I am a writer, mostly creative non-fiction and poetry. I love journaling and making journals as well! I work as a pharmacy technician, I'm married, and I have three handsome stepsons.
I am a voracious reader, and my current favorite is The Artists Way by Julia Cameron. Have you read this? It's amazing.
I'm a spiritualist palm-reader and an unusual Christian. I also do alot of cleansings and I do alot of meditation.
I'm Native American, Irish and Hungarian. I value all the cultural traditions of my backgrounds! I'm also a tall, strong, curvy girl, and I'm proud of it!
I love to make art that represents a part of me. Coincidentally, I love to see art that represents a part of someone else. I can keep secrets better than anyone I know, and I love nature and natural things. (Urban decay is fascinating, however.) :)
Just about anything... I grew up steeped in old rock, soft rock, classical/instrumental, some current pop, a little country, etc. I'm into spoken word, especially Alix Olsen, Athens Boys Choir, and Sekou the Misfit. I love giving and receiving music! I love writing while listening to instrumental music-- drums, whales, chanting, nature, I love it all!
-I love to receive personal writing, artwork, ATC's, etc.
-I love journals!
-I love seeds, and I have a huge garden in the summer. Love gardening tips too!
-I love stickers, I love stuffed animals, I love girly toys and Barbies. Crayons and grown-up coloring books especially!
-Odd-ball, off the wall, eclectic and unique appeals to me.
-For some reason I struggle cutting ATCs the correct size, so pre-cut ATCs would amaze me and make my life so much easier!
-I love trees, painting them, drawing them, or pictures of them.
-I love chocolate.
-I love to cook. Indian cuisine is my favorite.
-I love rainbow colors, deep reds, all shades of blue and green. Yellow is touchy with me, depends on the shade. Sunshine-y yellow is pretty. :)
-I love Frida Kahlo.
-I collect crystals, new-age-y kind of stuff.
-I also collect rosaries, I love to meditate with them.
-I love the scent of blueberry, and other fruity smells. I like dark, murky, sandlewood scents too.
-I love anything dark and macabre, things that appeal to the darker side of my personality.
-I adore The Secret.
-I love books!
-I love risque pin-up girls and the like. I am not offended by nudity or explicit language.
-I'm very curvy and I appreciate how beautiful the female body can be in all shapes and sizes! I like attitudes in art that reflect that!
-I like to do origami, so pretty paper is always welcomed...
-I love various little odds and ends to collage with!
-I love those plastic jewels that are big and obnoxiously glitzy. Love love love it!
-If it's overdone and over the top, it's perfectly me. :)
-If you're sending me wearable things, jewelry, etc, please ask for my measurements.
Anything by Kingsolver, Califia, or Nabikov. Some Anne Rice (Belinda) and Twilight are my guilty pleasures. :) I adore books, especially used oddities picked up in an old bookstore. I'll admit it, I love erotica too. :)
-I'm not into super-cutesy stuff, no japanese-inspired cutesy stuff especially.
-I do not like anything that even remotely resembles anime.
-I hate regge music.
-I don't like vanilla smelly-stuff, or anything that smells like chocolate, cookie, cake or the like. If I can't eat it, I don't want it to smell like it.
-I don't like clowns (really, who does??)
-I'm very spiritual, but NOT religious.
-I am queer, and I do not like it when people think they can change my mind. Let's avoid that topic unless you are queer or a straight supporter.
-I don't like nuts in food.
-I'm a pet owner and a smoker, but you can't tell from my packages and that's how it should be. ;)
-Tea. Blech. Maybe fruity tea
Disclaimer: I spend alot of time and put alot of effort into my swaps. I always look at my partners' profile. I appreciate the same in return!
I rate my partner's swaps! It's important to me, important to them, and really it's good manners.
In my world, everyone who sends on time even loosely within the guidelines gets a five. Hearts are for things that show alot of effort or that really just touched me. Three means very late, no communication, dirty, torn, etc. One means I didn't get it.

I did it. I signed up for a swap. explodes
Dude how did you get your lists to be spaced like that? I tried everything.
Must. Have. PERFECT PROFILE. I am just too freaky OCD for all this. I see a swap I like and then panic and go,"what if it ends up expensive? what if I am late sending it out? WHAT IF I RUN OUT OF STAMPS?!?!?!" My head is a scary place...
i was just wondering if you've received my letter for the LGBT penpals swap? please let me know.
