Well, what can a girl really say?
I'm a 19 year-old Senior living in the Great White North of the Upper Peninsula. I'm on the verge of graduating, and in the fall I'll be an Education major at Northern Michigan University.
So, to put it all in perspective, I'm a happy member of the LGBTQ community with an amazing family and the girlfriend of my dreams. I'm a completely broke new college student, feminst, activist, and I'm more than okay with that.
I like all things unusual, glittery, and gaudy. I love bright colors and shiny objects. Eclecticism and spontaneity is the way I tend to live my life, which is an interesting way to complement my freakish OCD.
I love to talk. I'm actually quite the blabbermouth, and I love new friends. Feel free to contact me! I will be happy to hear from you. :D
I am a music lover, born and bred from a young age. I grew up relying on musical nourishment like Led Zepplin, ZZ Top, The Beatles, and even Kid Rock in his Cocky days. My dad is a long-time musician, and an epic guitar player in a local band just waiting to hit the big-time.
Even though I am a big girl now and allowed to like my own things, I still have a very soft spot for the old rock that made up my childhood. Finding John Mellencamp. Don McLean, Don Henley, James Taylor, or anyone of the like on the radio leaves me smiling and singing along with the voices that soared through my childhood. I am not a fan of country, rap or metal, but I can turn on the radio and find something I want to sing along to on nearly every station. Some personal favorites include:
My Chemical Romance, Jack Johnson, Lady Gaga, Jack's Mannequin, Jen Foster, Phil Collins, Pink, Savage Garden, Josh Turner, Hellogoodbye, Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Green Day, Panic! (Pre-Pretty. Odd, please! I much prefer Fever You Can't Sweat Out), Red Jumpsuit, Hawk Nelson, Relient K, The Killers, Yellowcard, Hit The Lights, Medic Droid, We The Kings, All-Time Low, Rise Against, Run Kid, Run, Blink-182, +44, God-dess and She...
This isn't even the half of it. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! I love to find new favorites.
Asking me this question is a really bad idea. Seriously, I am a crazy nerd. I am also kind of a literature snob. I admit that to myself, and I don't worry too much about it. I like what I like, but I will not judge you for your preferences.

You just have to double space it like normal...
Ruthie, you can work on your profile forever but until you join a swap it does you no good. :)
