I'm currently 24 turning 25 on December 18th! I am from Austin, Texas and work in the mortgage loan industry with my partner of 8 years. I love to craft! I make resin accessories, miniature food charms out of oven bake polymer clay, collect stickers, stationary like letter sets and memo pads. I also love washi tape, deco tape, and duct tape! I am looking to start paper crafting soon. I have been doing penpals and swaps for the past two years. I got started on youtube, then found a small kawaii penpal community on instagram also. I am really new to swap bot but looking to meet new penpals and people to swap cute items with! Possibly send birthday gifts and Christmas cards to once a year!
Resin casting, felt plush making, polymer clay, making phone and ear jack / dust plug phone charms, jewelry making, duct tape crafts, Japanese decoden, baking cupcakes and cakepops! I want to start paper crafting also!!

My first ever swap with the lovely GummiBear went smoothly and the other two weren't so happy with my package. With drgngirl, I believe the sample she happened to measure was one of the extra samples I gave, instead of the full 10 x 12" or more samples that I included. With thebragal, I believe that there was some confusion over what tape is considered "washi" tape, and have spoken about it since. It's an experience and I can't please everyone but I do try my best on swap bot & never had a swap or trade experience where someone wasn't happy with my swap in the years I have been doing this, but I digress. I still have hope that there is a great opportunity to swap with amazing people on here. Not to say that the people who weren't happy with my swap aren't amazing, its just the way I read the comments in the rating that has led me to sharing my side of the experience! Thanks for reading!

Sidney,
Thank you for the washi samples, memo sheets, and tags! That was very nice of you! I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and that we can swap again sometime!
Hi Sydney,
I just got done packaging up your jewelry. It will be sent out tomorrow morning. I really hope you like it. It's so hard to pick out jewelry for people you have never met. I read your section on your profile about the swap ratings in regards to the washi tape. I completely understand how you feel. Some people take this so seriously and it's supposed to be light-hearted and fun. Don't let the negative nancies affect your fun with swapping. I had a simple tea swap (send 2 teas to your partner) and I sent the girl 5 different teas, and wrote her a nice letter and homemade tea-deco stationary. I put a lot of heart and time into it and she gave me a 5 but no heart. There was no reason for her not to, but people will be picky no matter what you do sometimes. Anyways, just wanted to show some love on your profile, and let you know you should be getting it soon. xo
