I'm 27, single girl with no babies, except my Maltese puppy, Gidget (named after a character in one of my fave movies)! and I like/love: * Fashion-clothes- size med and I LOVE vintage hats and cool headbands (especially the ones with felt flowers or feathers on them!)! Also like felt brooches. * Travel- anywhere-anytime * Design- Inspiration in all things! * Family * Blogging * Sewing- Love retro/vintage fabrics- cool buttons * Painting/drawing/gomming and smearing * Creating * Crafting (I don't knit or crochet)

Maybe need to know

I don't like receiving birthday, Xmas,Halloween, holiday cards as I don't celebrate these. But I do love sending stationary and Thank you, Congrats, and Blank cards/postcards! I've collected quite an amazing hoard of lovelies.

Other don't likes... No religious items please. No lighthouses, precious moments, licorice, salt water taffy, no dragons, absolutely no tarot-or the like, prefer not to receive anything with pagan/witchcraft associations, not crazy about Disney stuff

any old classic movie love ALL movies regarding Jane Austen Novels (secretly love musicals and the cheesy beach movies of the 60's) * Princess Bride * Great Expectations * Gidget * Pride and Prejudice * Gone with the Wind * All the old Tammy movies * Notebook * PS I love you * Marie Antoinette * Enjoy romantic comedies as much as the next girl but really like indie films, documentaries, even a foreign movie with subtitles every now and then.

Favorite Music

  • Great music-just because it isn't on the radio doesn't mean it isn't genius! Feist, Lenka, Etta James, James Brown, Prince, The Postal Service, Wax Poetic, Norah Jones, Talking heads, and Regina Spektor just to name a few...

Response: I'm glad to have had a partner with my same taste. This was a fun swap to put together. I love when I would love everything in a package I send. Obviously I had to buy doubles so I wouldn't be jealous. ;)

Response: Well you simply must go. I'm not sure if it's considered Palm springs, but right outside of the city, where the Joshua trees grow, is some of the prettiest landscape scenes I've ever seen in my life. We had a bonfire under the stars and talked late into the night-you should do the same.

Comment: Thank you! Crepes are actually much easier to make than you would think...just make sure to let the batter sit for at least an hour and they will turn out perfect!
Response: Your post made me do more crepes research, which I've bookmarked. I'm on Phase 1 of Southbeach diet right now so no lovely carbs for me. Pout, carbs really are my favorite foods.
