I am an 18 year old waitress from New York, about twenty minutes from NYC. I am a freshman in college, majoring in biochemistry. I love martial arts and hope to be able to afford kung fu and muay thai lessons soon, until then I am strictly in the wannabe category. :D

I'm very eclectic. I like hip hop, classic rock, opera, indie, instrumental, trance, pop, classical...almost any type or genre really.

I don't have much drawing/fine art skill and can't sew to save my life (I don't know how I passed home ec). I have a journal that I spend extensive time decorating in a scrap book type manner and is one of my favorite things to do.

I'm a big reader (although with school plus work I seem to have hardly any time)

I like both fiction and non-fiction. Non-fiction I like current events/politics and science and for fiction I'll read almost anything.

I'm one of those odd people who leaves the tv on CONSTANTLY but never really watches it.

Mostly I appreciate the finer points of daytime tv such as court shows, Jerry Springer, and Dr Phil.
