I'm an at-home mom with three teenagers, the youngest one being 17. I'm a musician and currently playing with my husband in a duo we call Mars Bishop. I love animals. We share our home with 2 cats, 3 dogs, 3 rats, and an aquatic frog. I love reading, movies, music, and taking pictures. I'm a great cook. I tend to make this from my pantry without a recipe but I do love cookbooks. I'm not much of a baker but I do enjoy it. I like vintage ephemera such as old pattern books,found photos,old ads, and the like.I like vintage sewing notions, particularly buttons and trim. I have a fondness for vintage horse paintings and I have a nice collection of the Marx Best of the West horses. I don't care for modern Southwest design but I love old western stuff. My bathroom is decorated around this theme. I'm somewhat of an avid gardner, if a bit unfocused in my efforts. I also love Danish modern and fifties kitch. I love thrift store decorating. I collect vintage kitchen stuff like old Pyrex, melamine,plastic and tin storage bins, etc. I also like old school punk stuff and glam rock. I'm pretty ecclectic. Craft-wise, I mainly knit but I have many interests and I'd like to do more stuff with fiber. I love embroidery, for instance. I have plans for some silkscreening in the very near future. I have recently discovered a enjoyment of tea. I prefer caffeinated teas, my favorite being Irish Breakfast, but I like experimenting and I have other tea drinkers in my house who also like to try new ones. I also still love a good cup of coffee. I love chocolate. I don't care for fruity candies like Skittles.If it has a strong fruity smell, chances are I won't enjoy it. I do like Jelly Bellies though. I love penny candy like Mary Janes and Squirrel Nuts. I love tea cookies. I don't own a microwave.
