Please tell me when you get my art in the mail. I always like to know it didn't get lost. I am more than happy to resend if something is lost in the mail. Thank you!
I have been doing art for as long as I can remember and am working towards art being the only thing I have to do. :-). Mail art is a passion since it allows me to connect with other people, and I have been participating in many swaps for a few years now, and I put a lot of effort into all the swaps I do. I live with my boyfriend (who is still baffled by mail art swapping) of about a year and a half, and our dog, two kitties, and bunny rabbit.
I love colors, all of them, and anything unique. I don't like cute-sy things so much, but I always enjoy what I receive in a swap that has effort put into it. I love the Bohemian style. Aged, weathered items intrigue me. I have been obsessed with antiques and ancient cultures since I was around 4 years old. My interests were so strong that in kindergarten I told my mother I was going to be an Egyptologist, and when I was 9 I babysat my way to paying for an antique traveling trunk (which I still have!).
I LOVE letters! And I am obsessed with postcards, I ask everyone to send me one from their vacations. If you ever want someone new to write to let me know and we can exchange mail info!
For my altered book tip-in pages, 8.5x5.5 is the finished size.
I am no win North Carolina and have finally settled enough to get back on this site. I will not be responding to any negative messages, nor will I be caring about my ratings. I will be finishing my swaps, and of course sending out passed due items, and will greatly miss mail art swapping, but I have come to realize my ife is a little to complicated for it right now. I thank you for your patience and will be handling swaps slowly as I have very limited internet access right now. Thank you for those of you who left kind words, and I will update as necessary.
It changes daily.
Indiana Jones Trilogy, His Girl Friday, Shaun of the Dead, Out Cold, Impromptu, Thank You For Smoking, Cars, and many others (I\'m a bit of a Movie Buff)
Scrubs, Monk, Lost, Psych, X-Files, and South Park (I like all the Colorado jokes)
I like trying new things. Right now it\'s altering matchbooks, making journals, and dolls. I started beading a year ago as well.
I love photography and scrapbooking. I think it\'s interesting trying to find ways of displaying photographs for everyone to enjoy.
