I am a thinker, creator, designer and artist of sorts. I love to make children's accessories and decor. My inspiration comes from my two beautiful children (one girl, one boy). I have just started my very own blog and am trying to make the trasisition from lurker to blogger!

I should also mention that I am a little unusual-I just do not like the color of purple. I have tried for my daughter's sake, because it is her favorite, but I just can't do it.

Alice in Wonderland: I really only like the old fashioned Alice and my favorite illustrators are Tenniel, Rackham, Bessies Pease Gutman, and especially Honor Appleton. I am not partial to the Disney version at all. My favorite quote, which I actually use on a lot of my crafts is "Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." I prefer Alice and the white rabbit to the other characters. My style runs more to the classic over cutsie. I have a few Alice in Wonderland items in my collection and several old books that I will write a post about on my blog very soon!

It's hard to narrow it down to a favorite genre. I love bluegrass and related folk styles. On a daily basis it varies depending on my activity. I find classical to be very stimulating creatively, and of course I love to hear good old eighties favorites to reconnect with my youth.

Without a doubt, anything with Cary Grant in it! I also adore the Anne of Green Gables series (which is also my favorite book), The Princess Bride, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and most Audrey Hepburn classics. I am hard pressed to think of anything recently that I loved and watch over and over like the ones mentioned above.
