Comment: I can't even tell you how much I loved this swap! The bookmarks are so cute! And your story literally had me laughing out loud. I did a book club like that in 5th or 6th grade (but I just missed being on the team that did the competition), so I knew what you were talking about. Oh my gosh -- it was like I was living through it with 15yo you. Here's a hug for her. :) That's tough when it's r-i-g-h-t t-h-e-r-e and you can't pull it out of your head. As for the book -- I apologize for suggesting it. lol I was trying to force myself to read a classic even though I know I don't like stream-of-consciousness writing. I ended up listening to the audiobook while reading along with a print version (a tip from one of my kid's English teachers). I still had to go back and reread A LOT, and I agree that the whole thing can be summed up in 2-3 sentences. Some people love it! Those people aren't me. :D At best I was like, Meh. I hope you keep writing, though -- you have a gift for storytelling! Thank you, Carly Jo!!

Comment: You did great. I used rubber stamps to stamp on little ATC size envelopes. Then I used things you would spoil embroidery threads on that are fairly flat or I used playing cards. I gave them little clothes pins and bakers twine to make it hang. I love yours and I will be opening later. Thank you

My favorite might also be the Halloween card, but I like the simply gilded ghosties and the gold framework elephants and the skinny black tape with gold crescent moons. The cat ones are great of course and I also love the quirky chickens one. I like the little folders you made for the washi too, there's something satisfying about how well the cards fit inside haha. Comment: I really struggled with this rating. I waited about a week to think about it. Here's why: I always have said that if someone notifies me they will be late on or before the due date of a swap, then I will rate full marks. If I'm not notified until after the due date, I always rated a three. Unfortunately you didn't let me know until a couple of days after the due date that you would be late. On the other hand, the Halloween photo brag book you embellished was really cute, and I know that you spent a lot of time on it. So I'm awarding you full marks, even though I'm breaking my own rules. The bad thing about that is I always scold people who do this and then the person gets worse and flakes out eventually. I don't think you are like that, so I'm trusting you to take it seriously and let your partner know if you have to be late in the future, ok? Thanks for a really cute little book!

Response: I had a lot of fun putting the swap together! I love shopping for other people and seeing things I normally would never get. I love talking, or at least not by using my mouth. I never say a thing to anyone but I can type an ear off and not mean too at all! I have been meaning to ask about that paper tape that was in my swap, when it arrived I tore it out of the package and tossed the package. What is the name of it, I ran out and love to use it for cheesecloth, twines, ribbons and what nots. Its the best I have found yet.

Comment: If i could give you 10 hearts I would!. this was the best story. I forwarded it on to a bunch of my friends who were all laughing hysterically. The dancing hamsters was such a great idea. Who could be mad about not receiving a swap especially for dancing hamsters!

Response: i did try i had this great huge scene in my mind, when i placed the stickers and memos i was like wow is this bland! i didnt want to cover the back to show i used a card, and i was not sure if i should have sealed the front.
