I was very upset when teenagers decided to burn the one I went to in Greenfield. There is so much vandalism now. We were very fortunate with Hurrivance Florence, we had no damage and we live 26 feet above sea level so there was no flooding. we see a lot of homes that just seem to be abandoned because now they have to be raised and people can't afford to do that. Our postman lives in Jacksonville and he still isn't in his home. Take care. Shirley

Comment: Oh Sherri!! What a package full of love!! The BULLDOGS!!!! OH my goodness!!! I love them! They will be going right into my Bible!! I know the perfect verse!! James 1:17" Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows". Guess what? I love bulldogs because I am from Georgia!! My mom is a graduate of the University of Georgia! On my honeymoon, with Paul, we drove down to Georgia and the most FABULOUS part was going to the Athens and going between the hedges!!! We spent our very last dimes in the UGA bookstore!! A bulldog shower curtain, Tire cover for my Jeep and so the list of purchases goes! The only money we had left to use was our gas charge card!! Oh but, it was an awesome trip! God blessed me so beautifully with our bulldogs! We have had 7 in the last 22 years and our last three were rescued by the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue group! I also love American bulldogs! My friend has three! Thank you so much for the beautiful Bible Journaling treasures! You have blessed me richly! Guess what? My special word for last year was "Joy", so the bookmark you sent is such a perfect reminder for me! And the sunflower!!! Oh yes indeed!! So lovely! The peacock!! So sparklie and pretty! Love her! Everything is so beautiful and I see the love that went into each sweet little envelope! Thank you so very much! I sure hope we meet again! :) Oh!! I also loved the "world traveler" sticker :) I visited family in Singapore and the Philippines earlier this spring, and unfortunately, Kuting has not yet come home :( My family continues to pray for her safety and to check the local shelters each week. Uling, her daughter, is sometimes lonely, so when we get a bigger place, I am hoping to get her a playmate. I'm glad you also love theatre ♥ The King & I revival production that is touring is gorgeous! I hope to see it with my parents when it comes later this year (and I hope, hope that Laura Michelle Kelly and Jose Llana, two favorites of mine, will still be in the lead roles! Manna Nichols, who is Tuptim, is also superb). I cried to hear the overture played by a full orchestra at Lincoln Center two Halloweens ago. Hope you and yours had a great Independence Day celebration!

Comment: We've been to beautiful South Carolina. Stayed in Myrtle Beach, but toured all over the place. Loved the history and were well treated by everyone. We do not have as many exciting things to do as you guys do. We live 4 hours from Rocky Mountains in Jasper. We have great snow skiing /boarding and skidooing. Lots of fresh, clean lakes for boatinh/fishing. Trees everywhere which makes for great campgrounds.
