Comment: I absolutely LOVE my envelope :) It is so so pretty, I'm definitely putting it in my purse to keep all of my loose papers :) And, thank you so much for such a lovely letter it was very nice of you to say something more than the generic "I am this is such an such swap" note, it really meant a lot. And, the little wallet is exactly what I needed, I was trying to make one but for some reason I just can't seem to pull it together lol Thank you so much for the lovely package I really enjoyed it :)

Response: Some folks thought it was of a porcupine and lupine. Most guessed the hedgehog, a few got the foxglove. It was very fun to make. I'm glad you liked it so well. Hope you had a lovely and DRY vacation.

And the lightswitch cover is beautiful -- I'm putting it on my main kitchen switch so I can see and admire it everyday -- it is beautiful. Thank you so very much -- you went way overboard but I'm so pleased that I was your partner : )
Response: It just seemed to make sense to have one color for each bird and to repeat the color for each background. But it didn't work with just 2 birds. And i couldn't decide which bird to leave out. So you got 3! I'm so glad you like them. And the lightswitch cover had sat in a drawer for 2 years at least. I felt it should go to someone that might enjoy it.

Comment: Love your raven stamp, and love the purse envelope, too! Thanks so much - I don't carry a purse, but I'm sure it'll be useful in my backpack! Mmmm, the flowers on the front of this card were tulips, not hollyhocks, but your other partner probably got that picture. Nice card anyway. It's nice to get a chatty type note with a swap, instead of just "here's your .... whatever". Hope we have another swap together someday.

Comment: Margaret, as soon as I peeked into the envelope, I knew that you had sent me an extra special package! Your ATC is just beautiful and heart worthy all by itself...you couldn't know this, but it reminds of the view out of our cabin that's nestled in the woods. The extras that you packaged so beautifully are absolutely me! The crocheted trim will find its way onto a project, but one I plan to keep for myself :) The vintage ricrac is already on display with my other vintage sewing notions, the beads are so pretty and the moose postcard was terrific- we just happen to have one mounted at our cabin. Your thoughtfulness is truly appreciated!!!!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed everything. It was 16 BELOW 0 at our house this morning and the snow has been beautiful from the last storm. I guess that is why I used the winter theme. We live on a lake so we see lots of trees just like these. I noticed the vintage ricrac in my stash from a yard sale find with about ten other miscellaneous items for a dime. Yellow is not my color so I felt fine giving it up. |>D I have an old zipper tin, and a number of things from dh's grandmother. And lots of really old crochet magazines from my grandmother who is just about to turn 101. They are lovely.Thanks for the heart! Happy swapping!!

Response: I was so bummed by this 3. I hadn't been rated when I expected to be, so I emailed Bfly. When she said she hadn't received the envie of papers, I sent another within a few days. So it wasn't really late as I sent the first out before the due date. (And I never got it back?) I can promise you, I will never rate a resend with a 3 because it is late. Funny thing, if you check Bfly's profile, she was pretty upset when someone did the same to her!!
