Ever since I was a little kid, I have always adored Valentine's Day paraphernalia-- particularly the combination of hearts and the pink, red, and white color scheme. I wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day with a themed swap! Buy approximately $10 U.S.-worth of Valentine's themed goodies to send to your partner. The package can consist of anything and everything Valentine's Day-themed. [If you are having trouble finding Valentine's things to send, you could interpret the theme a little more loosely and just send items that are pink, red, and white, or items that are just heart-shaped.] Some suggestions of items to include in your package: * Hand-made or store-bought Valentines * Confetti, glitter * Chocolates [Please take melting into account, though... Depending on you and your partner's climate and how far the package needs to travel, you may want to avoid chocolate altogether] * Candies (conversation hearts, marshmallows, etc.) * Games (those goofy games for couples are kind of fun... like Love Lotto cards you can find in the drugstore where you scratch off and win a foot massage or whatever...) * Stickers * Decorations for cakes/cupcakes/cookies (tubes of icing, sprinkles, colored sugar, cupcake liners) * Soap, lip gloss, nail decals * Red/white/pink ribbons, lace, buttons, sequins * Anything heart-shaped or with Valentine's colors! Open to international and new swappers, but please no swappers with bad ratings!! (I am relatively new on Swap-Bot, so please let me know if there is anyone who has a poor history.) Hopefully the February 1st send deadline will mean that most swappers will receive their items by Valentine's Day! Please feel free to post to let your swap partner know your favorite types of items to receive. |
