I am a retired Family and Science school teacher. I love collecting antiques, esp. old advertising, I love buttons (old, new, vintage etc.) and more buttons, anything vintage and I love boxes -wooden, tin, papier mache, decorated, unique, etc. My favorite thing to do is browse in antique and junk stores and look for metal and unique findings and trinkets, old laces, old letters and photographs, ledgers, postcards, quilts, old junk jewelry, and the list goes on and on. I enjoy doing all crafts, esp. needlearts - quilting, counted cross stitch on 28ct. or higher linen, wool felt, wool embroidery and punch needle. I love fabrics and fibers and any fiberart - art dolls, fabric pins, fabric charms and multimedia charms, fabric ATC and paper ATC. I am trying to become a paper crafter with altered books and cards and scrapbooks. I love altered books, handmade junk journals, handmade art zines and paper arts in general...so I love anything to do altered art with. I hope to do some altered books, zines and collage in the very near future.

Anything soothing - Norah Jones, Rod Stewart, Willie Nelson, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan, Harry Connick, Jr., Bette Midler

Don't get to watch many movies, but I loved Nicholas Sparks' books/movies. I guess I really like just about all chic flicks with happy endings. I don't like to watch movies that I have to think real hard about because I am usually doing some type of needlework or crafting while watching.

All the CSI shows, Criminal Minds, the Mentalist...I love CBS. David Letterman is my favorite nite time show - he's a hoot, but my husband can't stand him. I love Flashpoint and cannot wait for the new season of The Good Wife. I love all the funny CBS comedy sitcoms: The Big Bang Theory, How I Met My Wife etc. and I am looking forward to the new Two and Half Men with Ashton Kutcher.

Needlearts. I love altered books and ATCs even though I haven't done any altered books yet, plan to. I love anything handmade. I LOVE wool felt (not the Wal Mart sheets of craft felt, but real wool felt) to make pinkeeps and wool pennies and beautiful wool. I love just about every color esp. blues and purples, rose to deep red, golds and jewel tones, no blacks or browns unless it is a black and white theme, and I love all art esp. handmade and hand drawn (I just know there is an artist trapped in my body - tee hee).
