Samhain/Halloween Swap...for those who celebrate this Pagan holiday or not. Each person has their own ways of celebrating, but for those not familiar with it, here is a link for more info: http://www.geocities.com/lavenderwater37/holidays/samhain.htm

Samhain is the Pagan holiday for the Celtic New Year and is the 3rd and final holiday that marks the end of the harvest season. It is also a time to honor those who have passed on the year before. For this swap, you will have one partner. You will send you partner items to help celebrate Samhain. It can be altar items, herbs, incense, spell items, a ritual, etc etc. Please follow the correspndence list of Samhain items as to what you will send. If you have any allergies, please list them here. Please make this a nice size swap, cost between $15-$20 before postage. Send something you would love to recieve in return and something that might get you a heart!! Handmade items, as long as they are nice, are welcome. Only those with a rating of 4.7 or higher can join. Absolutely no "no send" within the past 2 months and that's within the sign-up deadline of September 25th. And I will check on those who join and ban anyone who doesn't meet the requirements. As the hostess of this swap, I reserve the right to ban anyone who doesn't fit these requirements.

I'm glad someone took this over! :D

Anyway, as I said on the last one, I would prefer to receive a majority of pagan items over commercial Halloween things. I really like divination and herb-related items, and don't mind candles and incense! Feel free to send them to me, in fact!

Most of you know this is Mikki's swap and I just took it over so it wouldn't be completely dropped! I am soooo looking forward to this swap and hate that Mikki hate to drop it! I do hope everyone will rejoin and enjoy swapping!!

OH YEAH ~ I don't mind a mix of items but would love more Pagan Items than Halloween but I also love Halloween!!!

Hi......

I would prefer pagan herb and nature to commercial Halloween fair. I have plenty of that…..maybe more than I should.

But if my partner should be well skilled in the craft of besom (making), I would love to receive a besom over all.

...And should I be so bold as to ask for ash, birch or oak for the handle and a binding of willow?

Well.....may we all have a most beautiful days.

Robin

In Machynlleth, Wales, we have a Lantern Parade for Samhain. I am looking forward to seeing it. I am from Germany originally, and Halloween is being celebrated there more and more. Happy Samhain, Annette Strauch.

I too would prefer the herbs, altar, incense items over traditional halloween items. My profile will be updated for this swap :D Thank you!
