Quilting: I've done several baby quilts and just recently made a quilt for a cousin who was going off to college - with the help of another cousin - and made a quilt for myself that just needs to be quilted. I'm really loving scrap quilts at the moment. There are 3 more quilts in my head, already planned out, and I've been collecting blues, greens, and yellows for a couple of them, one of which is a Grandmother's Flower Garden that I'm hand-paper-piecing.
Beading/Jewelry-making: I especially enjoy making stuff with glass beads and hemp or natural fibers.
Felties/Stuffies/Plushies: I had so much fun making a bunch of little felt ornaments for people last Christmas that it made me want to make more to with others - which is one reason I joined swap-bot!.
Swing & Big Band, Bollywood, Soundtracks, Celtic, Christian, Classical, etc.
Georgette Heyer, Alexander McCall Smith, Louis L'Amour, Rex Stout, E. Nesbit, and P.G. Wodehouse, plus many more.
British Mysteries/Cozies, Historical Fiction, Biographies, Quilting, and Crafts.
Cereal boxes if I'm desperate!
Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Doctor Who, Hawaii Five-0 (re-boot), Leverage, NCIS: LA, Psych, Warehouse 13, and White Collar.
My name is Heather (my profile photo is of some snowy heather, which is probably too small to make out!), and I live in the Pacific Northwest, which I absolutely love. I love God, my country, my family, and my friends. I live at home with my family and have several part-time jobs: I work in a tea room, do child care for two adorable little boys, give piano lessons, and work in our family's home business. I like going on walks and hikes and really enjoy theatre, especially Shakespeare. We have an excellent group that does free Shakespeare in the Parks in the summer, and I love going to as many as possible!
I also love: books (generally speaking, I really like anything book-related), words, art (in just about any form, and many different styles e.g., paintings, drawings, quilts, posters, I'm a sucker for good packaging, photography, scrapbooking, nature, jewelry, a beautifully-bound and/or illustrated book, etc.); music (I play piano); crafting, cooking, tea (the drink and the meal - I love to have tea with friends); and the British Isles (anything to do with England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland is probably something I love - for example, rugby, fish and chips, plaids, shamrocks, Union Jacks, Willow Ware, Celtic knotwork, Gaelic, Welsh, etc.).
I love a good laugh, most things vintage, and I still love stickers. I also love working with kids in various capacities; giving piano lessons, doing child care, and volunteering at my church's AWANA program and teaching Children's Church. I love almost every color there is, as long as it is tastefully presented, but my favorites are greens, blues, reds, and browns. And last, but not least, of course, I love chocolate. Of any kind. Period/Full stop.

Thanks - I appreciate the help!
Did good on your profile my friend. Thank you and for joining in my swap.
Whew! That took forever (I confess to having perfectionist tendencies!), and the cat that kept trying to take a nap on my mouse didn't help. Not to mention that it took me quite a while to realize that it didn't like my caret (<) three (3) hearts! Hopefully it's better now! 8 )
Sorry - I've been so busy lately! I thought I put quite a bit in there, but compared to some profiles I've checked out, it is a bit bare. And as I've just been trying to figure out what others in the tea swap might like, I've discovered that the more information there is, the easier it is to figure out! Thanks for asking - I'll put some more in there.
Can you give us a little more in your profile like who you are? It is really fun for all swappers to get an idea a to who they are sending things to in swaps. You can check other profiles people have done to get an idea.
