About Me

Hi, I am a registered Nurse, and as my name says, I am also a knitter from Minnesota. Knitting is one of my passions. Although I have been knitting off and on for the past 30 years, I have only recently rediscovered the joys of knitting again. I have found that knitting helps to fill the creative void in my life.

My other passions include, cross country skiing, international travel, reading, audio books, quilting, and pursuing my masters in nursing.

I have 3 children, along with a cat, Dexter, who loves laying in bright colored soft yarn and a cocker spaniel, Sadie, who keeps Dexter in line..

Favorite Music

World Music of all types, New Age, Celtic, Jazz, Big Band, "Torch singers" lounge music like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Favorite Books

Right now I am reading "3 Cups of Tea" It is wonderful and inspiring.

I like history, biographies, and science fiction. I am a bookaholic and have combined my love of knitting and quilting with Audio books.

Favorite Television

Grey's Anatomy, Journeyman, Ugly Betty, Dexter, The Tutors, Gilmore Girls. I love TCM channel and watching "old" movies from the 30's. 40's and 50's. DIY network along with Discovery Channel is another favorite
