I'm a deacon's wife and mother of eleven. I am a farmer, teacher, writer, creator, and cook. I love to travel with my family. I love vintage, shabby, and Waldorf.
I have designed clothing for many years (just for my own enjoyment). I am a trained floral designer and event planner. I enjoy growing things - flowers, food, and herbs.
I love Celtic, Classical, Bluegrass, and Country. I also really love British Pop from the 90s. Ethnic music - Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Acadian, Bhangra, Far East Asian...
Name a book I don't like... Jane Austen is a favorite, along with Hardy, James, Twain, Lewis, Tolkein, and Alcott. My favorite modern novelist is Rosamunde Pilcher.
I love them all! I do a lot of knitting, crocheting, sewing, and embroidery. I'm an avid refashioner, a new tatter and love poring over resources for obscure handcrafts.
