• So, I'm just gonna throw this note up here and I'm trying not to be sore about this because no one knows me personally. But I was just removed from two swaps, I'm assuming because of the two #3 rankings that I have, so I'm explaining. Before that swap, I had fulfilled 30 swaps on time, getting 5's and hearts from most of my raters. I signed up for this particular swap on a whim, late at night during a pretty big depression that I was going through. In my depression, I couldn't stay awake, ever... and when I did manage to stay awake for a few hours, I was exhausted and not thinking clearly. I dived into the computer to escape from everything around me. I was wiped out. My kids were giving me an especially hard time and my husband was no help. I felt like it was me against the whole world. It's not an excuse, it's just what was happening. One day, I decided that I had had enough and I gave up the computer and reluctantly accepted outside help with the kids. I stayed offline for a while and in all that time, I completely forgot that I had signed up for the swap. It was an online blog comment swap. Of course it was a commitment, and I was responsible for honoring it, and I did when I came back online and saw that I had forgotten it. But by then, I was tardy and had gotten a #3 rank from two people.

• If you are considering removing me from a swap because of the two #3s that I received, please just be aware that it was a VERY rough time for me and I never intended to be late. I am a good person and I am very careful not to ever sign up on a whim again. Please don't let 2 out of my 75 rankings determine my worth.

Hello, my name is Tiffany Taylor. I am a 28 year old wife and mother to 5 kids living in Maine, United States. I have always wanted a pen pal since childhood and have always loved learning about different areas of the world. I have just now decided that life is too short to always "want" and never try, so I have found a few pen pals and am hoping for the best!

My favorite hobbies are photography, drawing, cooking, reading and hanging out with my family.

My children are aged 11, 9, 7, 5, and 2 1/2. The baby is my only boy :)

Besides my children, some of the things that I am most proud of or accomplished in are:

My artwork - I used to draw portraits for money and have gotten an award for it!

My photography - I have been asked to shoot TWO weddings next year and to be editor for an established photographer! Pretty good since I do no advertising of any kind :)

My personal growth - I have recently decided that being an introvert is no fun and only hinders my life, so I am a newly turned extrovert... or at least NOT shy anymore :p

I used to describe myself first as shy, but now I would just describe myself as short, quiet, and always trying to please. I will gladly give my time to someone if they ask and if I can. I am also a bit lazy and I am VERY non-confrontational. I avoid drama at all costs, I don't have time for it.

As far as my personal life timeline: I went to a private Christian school until the end of second grade. I then went to public school for 9 hellish years where I met a few awesome teachers and my husband, as well as my ex-husband. While in my junior year, I fell victim to an abusive boyfriend. I spent the next 4 years secluded from everything and most people that I loved while playing Little Miss Susie Homemaker for my ex-husband. I had two children during this time. When my oldest daughter was 2, an old friend came in like a knight in shining armor and whisked my children and I to safety and we have never looked back. I am now married to that friend, enrolled in online high school to get my diploma, have my license, and am currently a product tester earning free stuff in exchange for my honest opinion :)

I love Mainstream music such as Omi, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Black Eyed Peas, etc.

I love children's classics mainly. I adore the Wizard of Oz books, The Alice in Wonderland series and fairy tales :) I also enjoy how-to books that teach me things or give me idea on things to do with the kids.

Favorite Restaurant: Big G's, a local restaurant with giant food.

Favorite Snack: Oh gosh, I love most snacks except I'm not big on plain pretzels

Favorite Hobbies: photography, most definitely. I also love to draw, write, cook, read, and hang with the family

Favorite Flower: I do believe the carnation and the tiger lily.

Willow (5): Size 4T Likes: Baby dolls, buses or anything with wheels, stickers, books, art, accessories, sunglasses, pretty mail, tattoos, anything girly. Dislikes: spicy food Allergies: none yet. Can not have: earrings that are not clip-ons, hard candy.

Liam (2): Size 24 mos - 3T Likes: Tractors and other things with wheels, Spongebob, Dora, board books, hats, and sun glasses. Dislikes: Allergies: none yet. Can not have: hard candy.

I can only wear earrings that are hypoallergenic. I'm also lactose Intolerant and MAY be very sensitive to red dye #40.
