I'm a single mom of two teenagers. One of each. I live in the bay area and have a regular 9 to 5 job. I enjoy reading, wine tasting, hiking, photography and socializing on my off hours and weekends.
I'm not an overly frilly person. I tend to like warm colors, green being my favorite of the moment. I don't really collect anything, but I do like asian themes and nature themes very attractive right now. I enjoy good food, but try to stick to healthy things.
I like new country, classic rock and classic string music. I am willing to listent to new things and in fact my kids have played some things for me that while I found them interesting I'm just not sure I can "go there" on a regular basis.
I am a huge fan of pedicures and eyebrow waxing. It's my way of taking care of "me". So anything that's not glittery or odd colored is a perk. I love hand made soaps and lightly scented lotions. I am developing a fetish for lip balms and lip glosses.
I do a lot of found object jewelry lately. I enjoy working with metal and would love to try stained glass at some point. I cross stitch, crochet and knit, but not past a very basic level. I have tried paper quilling and loved it, but it's not really practical. Paper embroidery is fun as well as basic scrap booking. I like doing small projects rather than large involved ones.
