Back on Swap-bot after a bit of a hiatus!
I am female. I am made in America of German and Irish parts. I do not define myself by my sexuality. I am passive-aggressive, but I will be the first one in line with a baseball bat if you hurt someone I care about. I believe in making love over war. I believe in respecting everyone, no matter how different they are from you. I am a liberal. I am a radical feminist. (More importantly, I know what it actually means to be a radical feminist.) I am pro-choice. I am pro-equality. I am a smartass. I put voice to some of the things that people think but won't say. This often leads to awkward situations.
Bones, Law & Order: SVU, Glee, Jeopardy, Good Eats, Iron Chef America, Passport to Europe, House Hunters
I love oldies music -- the stuff played on the radio so often during the 60s and 70s that people today still want to scream when they hear it again. I also enjoy some acoustic folk, particularly of the queer variety.
V-Day: Until the Violence Stops, The Breakfast Club, Remember the Titans, Shrek, This Film Is Not Yet Rated
Brave New World, Number the Stars, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Secret Garden, Harry Potter, Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape, The Vagina Monologues
Lately I've been on a pretty big postcard-making kick. I like making bookmarks and inchies and other flat things. I'm really looking forward to starting some package swaps though. The American economy sucks right now, so I know that people would love to get something in the mail that's not a bill.
I've done one matchbox swap, which I really enjoyed, but found myself lacking items small enough to fit in the box. I'm hoping to do a few more of those in the near future. The last package swap I did was quite a lot of fun as well, so I'm looking forward to signing up for something similar again.

Thank you for the yarn for the "Who Likes..." forum tag. It's just the right shade of green for the leaves on the amigurumi fruit and vegetables that I am making :)
