I live in western Colorado, USA, and am about to start teaching 8th grade language arts. Wish me luck!
The fandoms I enjoy and my favourite characters in each are:
-Harry Potter (Hermione, Snape, Draco) - (also, I'm in Ravenclaw)
-Pirates of the Caribbean (Jack, Will, Norrington, Elizabeth, Barbossa)
-Firefly/Serenity (River, Mal, Simon)
-Doctor Who (but I haven't seen the newest season yet)
I dress sort of weird; some days I'll wear jeans and a t-shirt, other days I'll wear Victorian-esque lace-up boots, a long velvet skirt, and a ruffled shirt. I also make a lot of the accessories I wear, like belts, purses, and headbands.
I like pretty much every colour and will wear anything.
In my house, each room has a theme. The living room is Asian, red and black and gold. The kitchen is sushi-themed. The bedroom is brown and gold, and we're working on making it sort of steampunk. One bathroom is penguin-themed! My office/sewing room is vintage 50's-ish in pink, turquoise, and white.
If you have any questions about what to send me, or what I'm sending you, feel free to message or email me. And if you see something in my profile that you have in common with me and would like to do a private swap, just let me know!
I knit, sew, embroider a little, scrapbook and make cards sometimes, collage, I just learned to crochet, and do other random crafty things like stencil on t-shirts and paint shelves. If there's an option to send something handmade in a swap I sign up for, you'll probably get that as opposed to store-bought.
I collect/am obsessed with: penguins, pirates, trees, owls and other birds (the cutesy kind), coffee mugs, polka-dot anything, antique/retro doo-dads, vintage aprons (especially pink and/or black), old books, Ravenclaw stuff, Pirates of the Caribbean, castle figurines, earrings, chocolate, the Victorian era, the Regency era, the Renaissance era, stationery, pens, coffee, Jane Austen, pretty paper, ribbons, trims, eyeliner, buttons, fantasy (fairies, dragons, magic), notebooks, socks (especially knee socks), apples, pears, and skeleton keys. I also recently got into steampunk, so anything with gears, goggles, or clocks is most welcome!
Please don't send me anything to do with: candles, pagan, body stuff, monkeys, insects, profanity, scented things, Twilight, sour candy, country decor (chickens, wheelbarrows, etc.), stuffed animals/dolls, or any kind of tea (unless it's black or Earl Grey).
In no particular order:
Mika, David Bowie, Queen, The Beatles, NIN, No Doubt, Michael Buble, Cake, Barenaked Ladies, Fiona Apple, Norah Jones, OK Go
I'll try anything once except rap, jazz, or polka. ;)
Also in no particular order:
Amelie, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sweeney Todd, Enchanted, Memoirs of a Geisha, Labyrinth, Serenity (also Firefly), Fight Club, 300, Love Actually, Dark Knight, Closer, Pride and Prejudice (BBC and the new one), Moulin Rouge, Spirited Away, Phantom of the Opera, Marie Antoinette
Still in no particular order:
Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Memoirs of a Geisha, Neverwhere, Stardust, Smoke and Mirrors, The Floating Book, Girl With the Pearl Earring, Percy Jackson series, Falling Angels, Kushiel series, Ender's Game, The Raging Quiet, Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles, Hitchhiker's Guide "trilogy", Narnia books, Lovely Bones

Found it! There's an alphabetical index. Thanks!
Oops, I wasn't specific enough. I meant the River font, though it's handy to know about the Nashville one too.
