LOVE to knit and I like to crochet and sew! I knit socks, hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, mittens, purses, coffee cozies and anything that is a fast project. I am not a sweater knitter because they take way too long and I like instant gratification! I prefer wool, but am not against a decent acrylic yarn! Any Noro yarn makes me happy! Anything knitting related also makes me smile.

I love many genres..it just depends on my mood! A couple of favorites are The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon and Julia's Chocolates by Cathy Lamb. Both very different, but both excellent reads!

Mother, wife and teacher. Western NY is my home but I'd love to move to sunny Florida! Hate snow!! :(

I have been a collector of anything flamingo for many, many years. Love those pink birds!

I drink decaf everything..coffee, tea, chai and soda. Caffeine makes me crazy!

Tootsie Pops and Red licorice. Yum!

I like the smell of lavender.

Love jazz and the blues! I also like quiet, nature-ish meditation cds to read by.

Not much of a television watcher, But I do like 2 1/2 Men..it's hilarious! Also, Cold Case and 48 Hours.

I wear alot of black (Not be to dreary, just that black just makes you look thinner!!) so almost any color will go. I do prefer shades of green to accent my clothing. I also like green (any shade) for my home.

Terms of Endearment and Steel Magnolias make me cry everytime I watch them.. Also, I LOVE Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase!
