I am a wife and mother to a wonderful husband and brand new baby boy. I've been crafting and sewing since I can remember. I love making something and then being able to say, "I made that." I'm not perfect, but I do take pride in what I do. If I don't think something is good enough to proudly put my name on it, I love figuring out how to make it better until I am satisfied with it. If I sign up for a swap it means that I will do it. If you don't receive something or if there is a problem please contact me so that I can make it right. I am not allergic to anything, but I do live and craft in a pet and smoke free home.
I was an English literature major in college, so my favorite genre is classical literature. However I also love children's books too.
Favorite authors: - Flannery O'Connor - Jane Austen - C.S. Lewis - JK Rowling - JRR Tolkien - Douglas Adams - Laura Ingalls Wilder - Beverly Cleary
Favorite books/series: - Secret Life of Bees - Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass - Anne of Green Gables series - A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
Things I can do: - I've been knitting for about 1 1/2 years, so I still feel like a beginner, but am constantly learning more techniques. I have knit hats, scarves, scarflettes, and shawls. But I am constantly learning how to make new things. - I have sewn since I can rememeber, but feel most comfortable quilting. Patchwork is my favorite. - I also have done a little bit of embroidery. - I recently picked up spinning wool into yarn on a spinning wheel.
Things I love but can't do (yet): - Crochet - Papercutting and basically all paper arts
I would love to have dark blue, light blue, cream, and purple in my squares, thanks.
