I love swapping, its so exciting to get stuff through the mail- i feel like its Christmas morning all over again opening up the envelopes! Every so often I find myself wondering about why I place such a high value on making things by hand. It could be because of an article I read, or a snippet of conversation I overhear. Occasionally someone comes right out and asks me, "What's the big deal about crafts? Why do you bother?" Sometimes I ask myself the same question – especially on days when I make a mistake and have to start from scratch! There are probably as many different reasons to love crafting as there are crafters, multiplied by minutes in the day – that is, each of us has our own reasons and they probably change over time. Sometimes I love crafting because it's better than cleaning the bathroom. Sometimes I love it because it's just plain fun (that would be anything that involves googly eyes, of course!). And sometimes I love it because it allows me to tell someone how much I love them...in ways that words just can't.But the real reason I love crafting – the thing that never ceases to thrill me about my hobby of choice – is the feeling that when I'm making something, I'm tapping into some sort of magic. It's the idea that I can take raw materials – and, with the perfect mix of time, effort and imagination, turn it into something special. The idea that a tiny, ordinary action, repeated ten-thousandfold, can produce something amazing...its just so fulfilling.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE VINTAGE STUFF!

Favorite 80's characters -my little pony, care bears, rainbow brite, monchi Chris, cabbage patch kids and wonder woman =)
I have no love for reptiles and spiders...I'm deathly afraid of them..Other than that i love animals-sometimes more than most people!I would give anything to live on a farm completely surrounded by a million of them..seriously! Horses, elephants, pigs, wolves, Dogs - especially Labrador Retrievers and hounds; Bunnies-lops,Cats-Rag dolls,Siamese
Marine life - i especially like sea horses =)
Insects: ladybugs, butterflies
And ofcourse...baby gorillas!
Game of thrones... my newest addiction =)
I really don't watch much tv but there are a few shows that i watch...Downton Abby,Revenge, Parenthood, Once upon a time, Revolution, House, switched at birth...and cake boss
I love mini books, oh let me count the ways! Small-sized journals and scrapbook albums are the perfect mechanism for capturing a big story in a compact and portable package. There is nothing like a totally doable project to get you really excited about scrap-booking. I just finished working on my first baby boy Mini , and i have a few more that I'm almost done with-my goal this year is to make one for every occasion/theme.Paper piecing and quilling is also alot of fun for me.Recently I've been dabbling with tear bears made from mulberry paper and paper roses- i love making handcrafted flowers. =) I also love smash-books.The act of Smashing into a journal is seriously addicting! I guarantee you that after you've completed your first SMASH page or project, you will never again leave a restaurant without nabbing a coaster or business card, depart from a theme park without a ticket stub, or throw away tags and labels from new clothes.I also keep an art Journal (also known as a visual journal)Its a a way of illustrating your personal writings. There's no right or wrong way to do this because, essentially, you are the only audience...i also do a little sewing and embroidering, but nothing crazy...I also enjoy making chunky charms, clay minis, hair accessories, pins, Zentangles and pop out cards

I really do appreciate the time, effort, thought, and expense that others put into gathering and creating items to complete a swap. Therefore, each item received safely is worth something to me and forever treasured. That being said, please save the following items for someone who would be able to better use them:
Tea,Spiders or creepy insect stuff, holiday related things, religious items,dark/ goth themed, zodiac signs / astrology, new age or anything related to ghosts, paranormal or witchcraft.
Crafting is something I have enjoyed for as long as I can remember. It has always been an outlet for my creativity...and a great way to relieve stress. I guess you could blame my mom .Not only has she been an endless source of inspiration and my best friend, but my mom is largely responsible for the creative spirit I am today. Whether it's a jean blanket made from squares of material cut from well-loved jeans, or used coffee grounds and crushed egg shells as a rich source of garden nutrients, my mom has always been creative in looking for new ways to use old things. This is one important element to creativity, many great inventions reuse ideas and materials, recombining them in new ways, rather than being brand new. This is a skill I saw in action every day as a child. One of the greatest gifts my mom ever gave me was the knowledge that no matter what path I chose or decisions I made, I would have her unconditional love and support. This gave me the courage to try things I wasn't sure I could do, to fail and try again.
I've been having some really annoying issues with my post office people lately, returning my envelopes & packages being stamped "undeliverable" or "used stamped not allowed"!!! Either because my art or the tape being too close to the stamps! ?? I've had to resend a few out already because of it so please please let me know if your package is late, I might have had to resend it...I always try to send my swaps out before the due date if I can't I mail out on the due date. A few times I've had to wait because I'm waiting for something from eBay or etsy - but I will let you know if that's the case.I'd like to keep all my ratings at 5 so please before you decide to give a bad rating- let me know & I promise i will fix it! As far as email swaps, sometimes I will get an email saying I haven't sent when I already have & then the person finds it inside their spam folder...so please check. If that's not the case I will gladly resend - just let me know before rating.

Let me know how you're doing? I hope all is alright.
Hey Dunia :)
Just to let you know I still haven't seen hide nor hair of the letter sent in May, perhaps it's on its way back to you or I just have to be a bit more patient!
