i live in san diego with my husband and our crazy dog ruby. i like: books, rain, scrabble, dogs, writing, chocolate, losing myself in a story, yoga, monkeys, spoken word, baking, interior design and anything vintage/retro. i am currently enjoying staying home to write and create, but i have always worked with children...teaching and/or directing preschools. oh, and one important thing...i HATE squirrels!!!

U2, regina spektor, dresden dolls, neko case, bob marley, spanish harlem orchestra, cocteau twins, the beatles, deathcab for cutie, prince, delerium, postal service, the cure, new order,radiohead, tori amos, natalie merchant, amy winehouse, roxy music, i could go on and on..................oh...a little industrial (the gothic period, ironically enough, will never die), some techno, house, downtempo; then of course there\'s jazz and funk and blues......................

harold and maude, nacho libre, ferris bueller\'s day off, breakfast club, so i married an axe murderer, memento, blue velvet, magnolia, say anything, amelie, flawless, the royal tenenbaums, napoleon dynamite, lost in translation, the princess bride, garden state, the \"hold me closer tiny dancer\" scene in almost famous, city of lost children, drop dead fred (i pee my pants every time)...

anything to do with design...i could watch hgtv all day. seriously. it is a bit of a problem. also, i LOVE what not to wear.

crocheting, collaging, painting, scrapbooking, interior design, creative reuse, stamping, cardmaking...i am learning to knit. i have just started doing ATCs.
