About Me

I have a great in interest in the home arts. I love to read about crafts and interesting projects but really just started to make things (purses, placemats). I love fabric and all things sewing. I have a big stockpile that I would like to do more with. I learned how to knit with my kids (8 and 10) and have knit a couple of scarves this past summer. Would love to learn how to quilt. One thing that I would really love to learn to do is to weld and solder. My favorite colors are pink, green, brown, jewel tone reds.

I love tea, teapots, the art of tea though I am not a stuffy formal kind of person. Not a big fan of chamomille (tastes like hay to me) everything else okay. Every morning I have my tea and toast, and a craft show.

Varied music. Big U2 fan.

All time favorites are Farewell my Concubine, Lost in Translation, Deer Hunter, Apocalyse Now, Amadeus, Camille Claudel, The Big Lebowski to name a few. My recent pick is Syriana.
