I'm a SAHM, and have a small side business making and selling stitch markers at LYS and online. I'm originally from Massachusetts, but live in Arizona now. I went to Smith College and majored in Religion and Biblical Literature, and then taught 4th grade for 3 years. My oldest is 4 and I'm starting to homeschool her. What else? I'm LDS and currently work with the Sunbeam class in Primary. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm Mormon and I work in the Sunday School teaching the 3 year olds. I'm a newbie to swap-bot, but I've been doing yarn swaps at LiveJournal and the Knitty Coffeeshop for a few months now to diminish my stash.

I don't drink coffee or black or green teas. Herbal teas or hot cocoa are ok, though. In fact, I'm a bit of a cocoa junkie. I don't have any allergies other than hayfever. Our houses is mainly decorated in blues with black, white and red accents. I love roses, but not rose-scented products. Other than that, I think the fun of swapping is the suprise, and I'm fairly easy-going, so I don't want to get too specific and wish-listy.

I lean towards folk and folk/rock lately. Indigo Girls, Dar Williams, etc. I like ballad-type songs that tell stories.

Sheesh... Uh, I have a not-so-secret crush on Will Farrell. I like his and Adam Sandler's films, but then I also like stuff like the Bourne movies and more serious dramas and mind-twisting suspense. Basically I'll watch about anything except cheesy teen romance and the slasher-style suspense films.

LOST, 24, Slings & Arrows, Drive, The Black Donnellys, American Idol, Number3rs, Law & Order in its various incarnations, The Office, My Name is Earl, Medium, Masterpiece Theatre, Simpsons, Scrubs, ER, Spongebob. (Who doesn't love Spongebob?)

Knitting and Crochet. Like whoa. I dabble in design and my yarn stash is outta control. I'm currently turning my sights to lace knitting.
