Peace, freedom of thought, trying to keep fit, living my best life

I'm an atheist-raised-Catholic who wasn't taught to question much so now I'm trying to catch up by questioning everything.

I am a liberal, though probably too into pop culture to be truly liberated. Politically I'm Green, and I want to be more of activist than I actually am.

I am also passionate about dogs. I am crazy in love with my own, and never pass up the opportunity to pet a dog on the street.

I'm a 39 year-old woman living in Santa Monica, CA with my husband and two dogs named Kramer & Stuart. I make jewelry, knit, run, and watch TV (uncool, but it's true!). In my spare time I like to pet my dogs.

Favorite books of all time: Marjorie Morningstar by Herman Wouk, Forever Amber by Kathleen Windsor, and Are You There God it's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume.

I also really like mysteries, suspense, and PI novels. Some favorites are those by Sue Grafton, Lawrence Block, and Daniel Silva.

Hard to do favorite movies of all time, but some are All About Eve, Annie Hall, Vertigo, Rear Window, Manhattan, Crimes & Misdemeanors, Sunset Boulevard, the Crying Game...

Sopranos, Dexter, Lost, Weeds, Survivor, Amazing Race, Mythbusters, Bull Sh!t, the Shield, Mary Tyler Moore, I Love Lucy. I'm sure there's more but I can't think of them at the moment.

Knitting! I am a knitting addict and trying very hard to get better.

My three favorite bands of all time: the Bee Gees, the Police, and Journey.

I listen to a lot of new music too though because I'm constantly updating my running playlist. So right now I'm liking the Fratellis, the Kooks, Muse, Mika, and the Fray.
