My favorites are speculative fiction, feminist sci-fi, translated Japanese fiction, rom-coms, Wisconsin mysteries/historical fiction, cozy fantasy, light horror, dystopian fiction, literary fiction, memoirs, environmental non-fiction, and social commentary.

Likes: Anything earthy. Animals (especially banana slugs, fish, snails, songbirds, puffins, chickadees, squirrels, cows and mini donkeys). Trees. Collecting craft/art supplies. Gnomes. Botanical prints. Nesting dolls. The color green. Polish pottery. Earth tones. Quirky. Humor. Tea.
