My hubby hates this shirt and I always thought he didn't like Eeyore. He told me about a month ago that it's not the character, it's that I wear it so much. Well, the shirt is only about 10 years old. There's a lot of life left in it. I got it at Walmart on sale for $5. "Great Value!" LOL! Hugs, Diane

The giant mushroom sticker is probably my favourite one....no clue what I am going to do with it yet but it will be used on just the right project :) Thank you for sharing samples of your new fun washi too! We don't have strawberries here yet but no snow anymore...at least not where I am. It is so crazy to think that you are still in thick of winter there.

Comment: Hi Carol, Thank you for the lovely long note and the goodies that arrived this morning! The reading postcards and the bookmarks are great and I appreciate the extra vintage cards. I'm particularly intrigued by the black and white photo of Piccadilly Circus. I've been trying to date the picture (I moved to London in 1969). I think it's possibly 1950s -- no military uniforms in sight so post-war but I don't remember flower-sellers in the 60s/70s. Fun to puzzle over, anyway!

When I lived in Arizona my friend and I saved a bunch of baby quail and took them to a rescue. They were SO tiny, peeping like crazy. Adorable. I got to see an exhibit of his artwork over this past summer, and I just fell in love with it all, The protests are mainly on the Champs-Elysées, so I am a good distance away from it all. This past Saturday wasn't near as bad as it has been, so I am hoping that it is all winding down! As an expat I really like Macron, so I was surprised by the sudden outburst of protests as well. I can understand the concerns of the protestors, but some of the demands, like completely eliminating homeslessness, are simply not feasible regardless of what country you live in. We'll see how it all plays out. Thank you again, and Merry Christmas to you as well!

We had friends who needed to evacuate come and stay with us and my brothers family and his in law's had to leave as well. Thankfully there was only a thick covering of ash and some fire retardant on all their properties. Much to be grateful for.

I live near the Baltic Sea and we we have a slightly warmer climate than in the north of the country, in the mountains. A lot of snow has already fallen there. They are so beautiful and I can understand why they would remind you of the xLikely/Barkerville area, we've been to both places. We used to live on the other side of Williams Lake in Alexis Creek, then McBride, then McKenzie and finally ended up in Prince George. My husband also works for the provincial government, I want to say both work in the same area? We met a lady in Amsterdam who son wrecked for the PG newspaper and my husband knows him. Everyplace we have traveled we have met up with people who know people we know, it makes a person realize just how small the world is. It looking like it will be just Bruce and I this year for Christmas. I think we should sneak off someplace personally and have a little fun-Las Vegas sounds good 😀. Figuring out ATCs definitely takes a while - sometimes it's just really hard to fit everything into the tiny space....it's a lot of fun too! And the postcard of the Glacier Skywalk is great...I lived in Jasper for a number of years and left I believe it was a year a two before they built it so I never had the opportunity to visit it. Comment: Thank you for your beautiful PC. I once took a train along the Fraser Valley and across to Calgary. Our Mountains are so beautiful ! I would have loved to experienced your life even for a month while you lived out there you are so fortunate to have had that opportunity.
