Comment: aw! you've got a ferret? me too! Koda.. He's the last of my brood. He had three brothers and previously before that, I had a female. I love ferrets. They're such crazy little carpet sharks. Kods is getting older so hes not super super active like he was, but he'll still follow me around the house and pounce on my feet. Thank you for the hand made card! ^_^
Response: Carpet sharks! Love that! My buddy, "D" is getting up there in age too. He's doing alright for being about 1/2 the size of any other ferret I've met and being about 6 years old.

Comment: Thanks for the postcard--I like the message too. Visiting Texas: 1st Recommendation--Come in the fall, winter or spring unless you like it steamy HOT! Houston is a great place for restaurants and shopping--can't beat it anywhere else in the state. We're friendly too! San Antonio has lots to do and a lot of Texas history. Fredericksburg in Central Texas is beautiful and always has something going on--it's close to Austin too. 2nd Recommendation--you'll need a car--can't get anywhere without one.

Comment: They are beautiful!! They broke on their way here through the mail though. I can still wear one of the earrings, so its ok. I'm going to try and super glue them back to normal somehow! I love them either way!

Comment: Thanks for making my card! I looove Christopher Moore. I read his early stuff when it came out, and am now catching up on stuff that he wrote while I was off reading other things. Augusten Burroughs - man, he is trippy. Raw Shark Texts sounds awesome - my library website is down so I can't request it immediately - grrrr.
Response: I'm glad to hear that you are familiar with some of the names that I recommended! Raw Shark Texts is definitely an interesting book, people like to compare it to Underworld and House of Leaves, but I feel it to be less SciFi than most would think. It's a fun read, and the pages are setup up very differently.
