My husband and I have a 12th grade girl living with us temporarily, and they both get a kick out of the "Birds Aren't Real" craze. I get a kick out of telling them it's so silly. The book page of woodpeckers made me think of the red-headed one that pecked for years on the huge apple tree in our backyard growing up. I usually save photos, receipts, wrappers, packaging, and things like that in my junk journals to keep just a little piece of my day. I also use it to write in or practice art techniques. Also for washi tape swatching and I have pages that I glue postage on. I use it for a lot of things!
