The circle theme is so interesting - I shall remember this for a different way to layer! And thanks so much for the extra goodies. And FYI, an ink box card is a 3 x 3 square with the corners rounded. It's the exact shape and size as a Distress Ink pad. It's quite a fun size to work with!

One of my favorite places to visit is the Unclaimed Baggage store in Scottsboro. And, of course, there are the beautiful beaches on the Gulf.

Response: Sheryl I am so happy you enjoyed the card! Thank you! These were actually the big flowers. I love the teensy weensy ones I make. All you do is use a little flower punch, cut out several of them and put a needle and thread through the bottom and just add to this row. When you pull the needle out of the top flower petals, you put a bead or pearl on the string and then stick the needlle back in the same place (or close to) where you brought the needle up. the pearl holds it together. push the needle down through the top petals (not through the pearl) and tie the threads together under the flower. Fluff them out with a pin. Voila! they are fun when you get the hang of it.

The punched borders were vey pretty, attached to the top. We had a bad winter here, especially the last month. However, now we have had severla days of sunshine and warmth which was a great jail breaker!

Comment: Kathie, I love the ATC--I do like earth tones,especially rich browns that go with my love of greens and blues--the ground, the grass and trees, and the sky--God's color palette! I have used the alcoholic inks before and love the beautiful effects of their blending, always a bit different when I even use the same colors. And thank you for the truly vintage French postcard . . . wherever did you find it? I think I am reading it correctly but will need to check a dictionary to be certain I have it right. I used to read French well enough to take an Intro to French Literature class to go along with my English Lit major. I can still read it pretty well because of the literature context, but I've gotten pretty rusty since that course back in 1970! I am not going to share that postcard with anyone--only use it someway in something I"m making for myself. Thanks so much for a wonderful swap!

Comment: So adorable Kathie. Each and every little face just warms my heart. You made your small tiny buttons? WOW! How did you get them in such a perfect circle? Can you please send me a little message telling me how you did these. I love clay and would love to make some buttons as well. Thank you for these sweet little inchies so much.
Response: Hi Sheryl, The buttons are very easy. After you roll your clay punch the little buttons out using a straw. That way if they get stuck, you just blow into the other end to get it out. The holes were too small to make with a pin (for me, anyway), so I used a tiny drill on my dremel after they baked. Such fun!

My adopted daughter from the Netherlands, Chelle and I have just started doing zentangles too and WE LOVE THEM we are working in a book called One Zentangle a Day....so much FUN and I want to learn some of the ones you added to this ATC I used them for all about me and my favorite movie and have gotten good feed back! Comment: Thanks for the adorable ATC, and all the great extras! I know what you mean about multi-tasking -- I will be doing it again in about 2 weeks! Out daughter-in-law will be going back to work from maternity leave, and we will be keeping our newest granddaughter until mid-August when her day-care slot opens up. She is a little doll, and pretty mellow for an infant, so I know we will enjoy having her, but I am glad this time it will only be for a couple of months. I am simply getting too old to keep up for extended periods -- oour oldest grandchild will graduate from college next May! Thanks again, and happy swapping!

It's been raining off and on this month and pretty windy, but today is a gorgeous day in Los Angeles. I've never been to Rancho Stanta Margarita (my name in Spanish) but I looked it up and it's in Orange Co.. It looks like a really nice, new community - I'm sure your daughter & her family love it there. I've never stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. but I've been there for parties and banquets. Comment: Thanks so much for the ATC and awesome extras! I've never seen a sewn ATC done quite like that. And yes, I like the sun, too. =0) Do you feel better with the thyroid meds or is it just the numbers? That's been a big problem for me. I guess T3 doesn't really show on tests. I'm trying some new meds, so hopefully they help. Be sure to have a doctor that will look at the whole picture. It makes a big difference.

I especially liked the asian themed peacock card, its just beautiful :) I also had a dog named Luke, ironically I was dating a man named Luke for 4 years, we got the dog (already named by previous owner) and my human Luke wanted to change the dogs name and I wouldnt let him HAHAHAHAHA Ohhh its so funny... 7 years later he still has to explain to his friends why he and his dog have the same name!! :oP
