Response: thanks and I am glad it got there so fast
Response: Thanks Roberta, actually, that was the whole idea. Do you remember the story of the Tower of Babel? I used pages from an old textbook called "I Speak English". I was an Enlgish Language Learner's volunteer tutor for a while, some of my students were great, but some didn't work hard and I felt frustarated when that happened. In any case, I was struck by how "Babelesque" a scene it was during breaks when all the students spoke in their native languages, and the seed of an idea for an ATC was born.
Response: Thanks, I am glad you like it. I can't believe how fast it got all the way over there to the Netherlands! AM
Response: That stuff is called Double-Sided Fusible Fabric Bowl Stabilizer, made by "june tailor", I use it for postcards, ATC's, bookmarks, and the like, but I have never actually made a fabric bowl. Go figure. I am happy to know the postcard made it there, I have never sent the fabric postcards without envelopes before, I was afraid they would get beaten up.
Response: finally, someone who doesn't think I am a nerd for having lapidary as a hobby!
Response: It was my pleasure to make it for you!
Response: Thanks, I am glad you like it.
