Comment: It has been over 3 months from the send date and I haven't yet received anything. I was willing to wait bit longer because the partner was active with taking contact (at late November) and asking if I have received the packet, and that it was known the post from Bulgaria can take longer time. However, it has been too long wait now and my previous message (sent January 19th) went unread so I feel it is time I give the rate. I am still willing to communicate about this and change the rating if the situation changes.
Response: As per my email message to you, Bulgarian post confirmed the package has been held in Customs since 18 December so took two months to arrive!! The lady at the counter could not tell me why it is held in Customs as it does not show -the reasons- on screen here in Bulgaria. I will resend next week. Thanks.

Comment: I finally saw the notice on my front door! For some reason I had to sign for it, oh well, good thing the post office is open for extended hours during the holidays. Thank you so much for the tea, I've been running low!
Response: My fault; I sent it with tracking number because most mail going to the USA, Canada and those considered "wealthy" countries - in Scandinavia, Germany etc- is stolen by post office staff in many offices in Bulgaria so otherwise it would have probably not reached you :-( Hope you enjoy the tea, Candace and have a lovely Christmas :-)

Comment: Hi Yuri! I was so happy to receive your weekend note. Except for the cold, Sofia sounds like a nice place to live. Florida is rainy today. The nights are a bit cooler, but days are still mostly high 80's. I adore the notepaper you wrote on. Thank you so much for including a few extra sheets for me! It is so hard to find notepaper sets here. In fact, you mentioned food swaps. I adore Japanese food and cooking Japanese food. I am having such a hard time finding ingredients here! Is sending food difficult? It sounds like fun. You have wonderful interests! Thank you so much again for the lovely note and the teas! Can't wait to try them. Response: Amanda if you would have got in touch with me (a PM does not cost anything) you would have known my first two trips to a local post office in Madrid went horribly wrong and several packages went MIA. As you can see on my profile some people (four so far) are starting to rate me for the resends. You know, good manners go a long way and communication is essential for this site to work properly. I will resend (I have not done before because obviously with you not communicating I had no way to know you did not receive). Updated September 2019: Member inactive since Sept 2018. Still no re-rating for the resend I mailed way back. After all these years I am still in shock she rated me a 1 with no communication and, on top of that, writing "Bad karma to you!". So rude :-(

I love the Manic Street Preachers' version of "Umbrella," and "Mistaken for Strangers" is one of my favourite songs from the National, so I loved hearing a different take on it---it sounds great with the stripped-down piano and layered background vocals that Ian McGlynn gives it.

Typically I don't put all the songs from a swap-bot cd on my itunes as I won't love ALL of them. But yours? Yeah, they're all on there. AND the chocolates! Oh goodness! Happy, happy day. I just hate to think of you paying double postage! And my daughter is going to really enjoy the sticker book, but I'm going to do my best not to share the candies. :o)

Comment: Thank you for the CD. It was a great mix of music. I've never received a package from outside of the U. S. and It was thrilling to get it. Hubby said I was like a kid. Will be picking up the book you recommended. If you would like a good read "The Time Traveler's Wife" by, Audrey Niffenegger comes highly recommended by me. Thanks!!!!!
