Comment: In response to an email I sent out to all swap participants, I received an email from you on October 16, saying that at the end of August you had unexpected neck surgery and that you haven't been able to use your computer for that reason. You also said that you are now in the possession of 2 journals and that you would send them out within a week. Although I do understand how the neck surgery has complicated things, I'm not sure why you didn't drop from the swap before the sign up deadline (especially if you managed to get online at least to communicate your delay to swap partners from other swaps). It doesn't matter now, it's been more than 2 weeks after the send deadline and I haven't received anything. I know you said on October 16 you'd send it out within 1 week and the week hasn't ended yet, but I wanted to have this rating out there in the hope that you'll fix this. Should I receive the journal, I'll change this rating.
Comment: I appreciate the email you sent on 9-1-13 letting me know about your unexpected surgery. However, I still haven't received the fabric and have had no other communication from you. I will change the rating once I get it.
Comment: I got an e-mail that you were going to be late, around the time the swap was to be sent- Aug. 31. When I hadn't heard from you I sent you a PM,on Sept 9, which has gone unread since you haven't logged in. The coordinator e-mailed you and got a response on Sept. 15, stating you had surgery and that you were just getting back to crafting. It is now Oct. 2 and I still haven't received the swap. Communication is lacking. I will rerate when the swap is received.
Comment: Good communication on a personal issue you're having (I totally understand) but I still haven't received. Will gladly re-rate once I receive. (hope things are going well)
Comment: Oh my gosh where did you find such wonderful fabric?!?! I LOVE the Twizzlers as they are my favorite candy (these are the only sweets I get when I go to the movies!) Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you for such wonderful ribbons! I LOVED this swap as I am a little ribbon obsessed :-) I probably could have picked these up from you as I was in Glen Allen a few days ago. Happy Swapping!
Comment: Alesha...THANK YOU!! What an awesome selection of ribbons...you really did get carried away!! LOVE them ALL and wish I could give you more hearts!!...Charlene
Comment: I hope you've all recovered and things are back to normal for you and your family. I love the fabrics you have sent, and the extra was very generous of you. I hope we can swap again sometime.
Comment: Oh my goodness...this is toooooo pretty to use as a mug rug because I'm afraid I will spill coffee or tea on it. It is hanging on my wall of honor at work as a fabric valentine....excellent workmanship, I love the cup with my initial on it and the steam coming out, and I love the rickrack around the outside...so beautiful, thank you so much Alesha!
Response: I am so happy you like it! Please use it! I used my favorite color combination, which happens to also be your fave too, based on your profile. :)
Comment: OMG! Thank you so much for such a lovely package. I need to get sewing for Easter now. Also thanks for the tea wallet pattern, how clever! I will need to try that very soon. Love it all!
Comment: I totally love this... I love that you picked a theme, "retro owl" from my profile.. you really went above and beyond with this and I have never used a coupon cutter either..(lol) thank you sooo much for taking the time on this swap for me..
