Comment: Jamie, LOVE this card, too cool!! We're still in "decision limbo" but all signs are pointing to Virtual. Thankfully we've been using Canvas for the last five years (I actually really like it); downside is that we still have to do a 14-hr Canvas certification....bummer.

Would have rated a 5 however the package was meant to be sent Nov.11 You messaged me you were sending in November 29th,but here still says Dec.03 So you still sent it later than you said, which is a shame, My advise would be to maybe not join many swaps? As in your letter here it says you didnt have enough money to send out, so Im guessing maybe you should cut down on swaps to make sure you dont send late xxx
Response: Thank you for the rating. I think that if you count your stickers, you may find that you got well over the 30 I was supposed to send you. I couldn't send any nail polish because it's not allowed to be sent in the mail. You didn't specify what kind you wanted of other makeup, so I sent more stickers. I understand that you have to follow the rules, but when you get divorced and your life is shot to shit, you let me know if your first concern is stickers. I couldn't send the day I said because I didn't have the money that day. I didn't buy groceries, either. I meant to send you a little piece of makeup as extra by the way, not makeup instead of the stickers. If I had done that you would have rated me a 3 because I didn't follow the swap. Enjoy your extra stickers. You're welcome. Thank you so much for your advice. My advice would be to give people a break.

Comment: This is one of the oddest cards I've seen. Some of it is quite lovely, the rest quite disturbing, actually, and all mixed together with no hint of why! I have to say, I'm not surprised to see it was made in San Francisco (& I'm guessing in the 60's!). The card is perfect for the swap LOL :) Unfortunately, the lotto ticket didn't win us any money (I say "us" because I totally would've split the winnings with you). I agree with you about the money thing. Same thing happens around here. My reason this year for being bummed is that my teen daughter is being super rebellious. It's bringing me down dealing with her behavior. I'm trying to enjoy the season anyway, but it's like having a dark cloud hanging over my head threatening rain or something. Anyway...thanks again for sharing and I hope that the season will be brighter than usual. :)
Response: Did I tell you I love LOVE the Klutz book series too?! I have never heard another adult admit that--those are great! I don't care about all of them, but quite a few of them appeal to me! Bummer about the lottery ticket--haha! I have a 5 year old daughter who is quite tired lately, and terrorizing everyone in the house at the times I am most stressed and can't take it well--like on the freeway, or rushing to leave for work/school--so I totally know where you're coming from! And then of course your letter. :) You pegged me perfectly: I enjoy word finds, the notecards are adorable, love how my pen writes, and such a cute journal! Owls are so fun. :) The hot chocolate is yummy. But what was so neat is the paint with water set!! I always tell my kids how much I loved doing them as a kid, and how neat it would be to show them what I'm talking about. And here it arrived! The kids and I are going to have fun it for sure. Hope you can use the card without the sentiment..I kind of thought the one would be better without any particular words, because you could use it as anniversary, or love, or friendship even. Sometimes words are limiting, I thought.

Response: I know! Isn't that teabag looking one fun!? It was fun to make too. You are supposed to take the coffee filters and soak them in tea to dye them, but I'll bet you could use other stuff to dye them. I'm glad you liked the envelopes. (I just opened all of mine at one time. I have no patience for waiting!!)

I am indeed a cigar box type of gal, I loooove glass beads and I constantly covet all the charms in the Blue Moon section at Michael's. The keys are the kind I hoard for projects I keep selfishly and the magnet is the most interactive addition to my big ol' magnet collection box (did you know you can keep food in those too?) I consider myself a little bit white trash so Tacky glue is perfect (who wants a snotty glue that looks down on you anyway). Gold stars, you rock. Love, mercedes benz
