Comment: I just loved 'Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine' and I read anything Jodi Piccoult. I thought her latest book 'A Spark of Light' was her best yet, given it was written in a different way to most of her others. As a writer, Jodi is also an interesting and entertaining speaker.

I'm originally from Nebraska and people from NE and WI are pretty much the same. My niece moved from NV to WI and lived here for about 3 years. She said, "Wisconsin people are so NICE!" People across the street saw her moving into her rental and came to help her move in. Guess that's the attitude in flyover country. By the way, you and my daughter are the same age! haha! Comment: I need to start a list of what I read and on which mediums, I’m glad to see the Golden Compass on the list, I really enjoyed the series but it was a bit childish. Another tween-ish book series to look into is Redwall, I read every book in the series up to about 13 books in, I’m not sure if he continued the series aafter I lost track of my mental state for a while. I have the depression back under control again for seemingly good for now... hopefully
Response: Goodreads or a small notebook is really good for keeping reading notes in. I used to keep a journal but stopped as I got anxious about writing a summary/review/opinion on my reads. Glad your depression is under control. Cheers!

I loved the postcards, especially the one with the Tiger Lilies; our neighbor has some of these in her front yard and I think they are gorgeous. Response: Leo & Raven are settled into their new Furever Home and they didn't much care for carving pumpkins but are playing in the kid's plastic pumpkin candy buckets! I didn't intend to foster kittens it just happened and I'm happy that it did!

Response: High Fives? When you slap your hands together in joy and like an "Atta boy" with someone. They will now bump fists afterwards and when they "blow it up" it is done with sound effects and they bump the fists and open the hand up like an explosion from the fist and retract it at the same time. It is a very young person's thing and it makes me extremely happy when one of my elderly patients call me on it and say "You didn't bump fists or blow it up!"

Response: I did win a prize!! I won a free 1 hr photo shoot with one of the photographer's from out local newspaper shop! My son and I haven't done photos in about 3 years! So very happy! I am also a quilter but very slow! And I'd really like that library!

Response: Didn't I opt to send it attached to the envelope still? I have soaked them off. But I never know exactly what people are doing with them. So I usually leave them attached to the envelope and just tear/trim a buffer around them. Have a great day!

Comment: Wow, that was beamed over pretty fast! I am not sure what you are asking of which is the most and least favorite... of what? the extras you sent or the tumbler patterns? If it's the tumbers, I would say the favorites were the stripe with the dots between them, the elephants, the black background with orange swirls. least favorite were the 80's looking plaid square checks, The farm animals on blue check and the Christmas candy canes. The New Mexico Balloon Crew with the feather thing was neat as it turns out I have a cousin there that owns a hot air balloon! Lobe the cute candy wrapper tape measure. I will throw it in my purse as I will never know when I need one when I am out and about. Had a chuckle over Hello Kitty as I have a rescued cat (Pure white we are working on an adopter and I named her Hello! LOL ) Enjoyed the fairy card, I will cut out and save the images for ATC's. Thanks for your trade. Hope my stuff is there soon.

Comment: My older daughter will be studying about Lewis & Clark this year, so your postcard was quite timely. Didn't know that many towns there are named Lewiston and Clarkston. Now we'll have to find some of them on the map!

Since you liked Plain Truth I'd really recommend Handle With Care & The Tenth Circle. These are my favorites of hers. Thanks for the postcard too, that rolling farmland is very beautiful!

You asked for suggestions about reading great books: I'd suggest either Jane Eyre of Price and Prejudice before you tackle Anna Karenina -- the two English books are a bit more fun and the Russian names can get you confused fast -- although I think Anna is a more important book and you should read it sometimes. There are a bunch of American classics too, like Scarlet Letter and My Antonia and Huck Finn and Moby Dick and lots more.

Response: It is awesome! Nite Glow is the best! They tether the balloons to the ground after dark and they fire up the burners on the balloons so they are these giant glowing laterns of color! So pretty!

Response: my uncle works at the graphic design department and those were made there. He brought me a bunch for swaps. Its Lewiston, ID on the note pad. My ear will heal with time.

Response: I drive up to Moscow/Pullman 4 days a week. Its not uncommon for people to not have come down to the Lewiston/Clarkston valley. Its a 45 minute drive.
